Dish Network/Boost Mobile cell/5G buildout thread
jthawks replied to PythonFanPA's topic in General Topics
I'm glad someone can confirm these are dish cause I've been seeing these going up in north Denver and so far they are sharing with at&t site's but I'm sure they will share with anybody. So is that a n41 antenna? -
So in your pic, the one in the middle is n 41 right?
-
I'm sure it's in here some where but this seems the easiest way to find out. Does anyone have pictures of. 5g nr radio band 71? I know the 5g nr band 41 here in Colorado are a tiny square shape. I totally forgot what the band 71 looked like. Thank you.

How's the service now with t mobile up there now? Switching my mom over here in the next week.

so im sure its been brought up but to lazy to search sorry. How do you know if you are connected to a small cell? Here in colorado we are getting a big jump on small cell deployment and besides the obvious of looking at scp signal strength isnt there a different gci? thank you

Well connecting to sprint's bands now I'm north Denver. Band 25 was great speed, band 41 not so much. -

Also, does at&t use the same antenas?
-
The past few days they added those antennas on a site by tower rd and peña Blvd. Thank you, as you always have answer's.

Found my first site here in Colorado with band 41. Also are the 5gnr radios look like two antennas that can be split in the middle? I thought someone said those are commscope antennas but I can't remember if they are the new 5g nr. Thanks

Oh OK, thank you. I thought so. But here's a better pic I hope. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

So I got almost 300 mbps on band 66. My question is this 3ca or just a great connection? Can someone break this down for me? Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

Just wanted to say once I did the software update that enabled nr5g I've seen a few already around Denver and Thornton. Pretty cool. Speeds not so hot but that's ok.

Ok so I'm trying to understand all this 5g nr, 5g standalone and band nr41, nr71. I did the code 2263 to where I can change band settings and do on. Here is a screen shot of the nr5g band priority. Should I mess with these? Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk

I will have to check it out. I've seen sites with a long skinny antenna next to two other's. I'll to and get pics. Wondering what the new 2.5 antenna look like. I did get an update on my phone for 5g nr. Oh wait or was out standalone? Long day yesterday.
-
What market? I'm in Colorado and I believe I've seen sites like that but don't think 2.5 is on.
-
Does anyone know where t mobile is aggressively adding 2.5 to sites? And Or does anyone have pics of the new upgraded site's?
-
Hey how's it going? Yes it's still here. You'll have to let us know how it is here.
