  1. I've been getting lots of network busy signals when trying to make calls
  2. Yep, I've seen one in Fort Collins that uses a microwave signal. Also, I got LTE in old town Fort Collins today.
  3. I sent a report late in the day on the 23rd and just sent another one within the last hour (both with "dwilson6 on s4gru" in the username/email field). I went to a few sites in Fort Collins and no GCI was shown at any of them.
  4. Ok, but either way it is a single band phone. I just didn't want to get my hopes up if it was possibly not on band 25.
  5. Were you getting 4G on a tri-band phone or was it on the HTC One you have in your profile? I might have to go do some mapping out there. I get traces of LTE (band 25) from my apartment but it only lasts a couple seconds and has a really weak signal strength. Its likely coming from the tower just south of the CSU campus.
  6. I have the stock firmware. I still am not able to see the GCI with yesterday's update. I forgot to send the report when I was over there yesterday (I sent one last week though). I'll send another one later today. Also, I'll try some other towers when I go down to Denver this weekend.
  7. I was able to go to another LTE site and it's GCI wasn't showing either on my HTC One. I have the latest Signal Check update installed.
  8. Thanks for the update, glad it is finally available. I still am not able to see the GCI for that site. SignalCheck says that the GCI is invalid or missing when I try to add a note. I will try to make it over to another LTE site sometime soon, but I suspect that you are correct that it is something with that specific site being misconfigured.
  9. I'm not sure. It could have been before the KitKat update. Do you have a rough time-frame on the update currently in beta being released? I saw something about mid-April on your website, is that correct?
  10. I'm pretty sure I've seen the GCI before on other sites but there aren't too many LTE sites in my area. I'll try to make it over to one of the other active sites in the south part of Fort Collins. And yes, I'll send the report next time I see that behavior.
  11. I have a situation where SignalCheck isn't showing the GCI for a newly accepted tower in Fort Collins, CO. I don't know that I've ever seen the GCI value. I have an HTC One with the latest software (4.06.651.9), not rooted. David (Dkoellerwx) suggested that I ask what might be happening.
  12. Just posted the site ID in the sponsor thread. It is just north on C470 and University Blvd.
  13. I'm confused by what they are doing at that site. I've watched it over the past few months when I've been down in that area (it's near my parents' house). They have swapped out the antennas multiple times.
  14. Yeah, I saw your post about that a few weeks ago. I have a single band phone so I'm waiting on band 25 to light up on more towers here.
  15. On Friday in Fort Collins, I saw some workers running some fiber right in front of the Hilton on the south side of the CSU campus. Conveniently, there is is a Sprint "tower" on the Hilton.
  16. I went by there this afternoon and was able to stay connected almost all the way up to Prospect. It's nice to finally get some LTE in Fort Collins (since I only have one band).
  17. None of these errors were from today. I've gotten them over the last month. I got more errors when I was down in Denver (a month ago) than I tend to get in Fort Collins. It makes sense that errors would happen as NV is being deployed. I did notice the LTE tower in Fort Collins on the maps today. I'm going to pay a visit to the mall when I can.
  18. I've had quite a few errors (on a single band device, the HTC One) with a message of 'Unable to establish wireless data connection' and various error codes: Error code 67 LTE: ESM-65535 LTE: EMM-0 LTE: ESM-65541 These have been both down in Highlands Ranch and up in Fort Collins (which is already live with 3G network vision).
  19. For some reason you message contents didn't show up here but I saw it in the email notification. Robert said above that the Spark icon will show for all bands of LTE (which of course is confusing). I couldn't get any LTE driving around a little bit this morning. I went on the south side of campus on Prospect and then took shields south. It could be that they were testing it yesterday or that it is just Band 41 that is active. Let me know if you get it again.
  20. Nice, I'll have to do some driving around tomorrow. I live right near the CSU campus. 3G has gotten better recently (with good reason). Seeing lots of 1x800 up here. Do you have any idea which band of LTE you are getting? I don't have a tri-band device.
  21. Yeah, I haven't had a chance to stop by any of the stealth towers recently (which, as you mentioned would not be that useful unless you can see the cabinets). The couple that I saw aren't technically in Highlands Ranch. One is on the south-west corner of County Line and University Blvd. It is a building mounted antenna on the south side of the plastic surgery building. Here is a picture of a stealth tower.
  22. Someone posted this link a while ago in this thread: http://www.zayo.com/interactive-map. It seems to indicate that there is a lot of fiber to be run (or that has been run) so it is possible that it could be Sprint though you (Merlin) would know more than I would. If there is doubt about whether this is related to Sprint, look at the end of the lines of fiber and you will find Sprint towers. On another note, I've seen a few towers near my parents' house in Highlands Ranch with new antennas. Once they go live, hopefully the horrible coverage at my parents' house will improve (they are literally in the center of a ring of towers). They have an airave which helps.
  23. Where at? Yeah, it is a great town, I am a student at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. We were kind of like an island during the flooding. The only places really affected were by the Poudre river or up in the mountains but all the bridges over the river were closed. We do need the rain though, it might have just been more helpful to have it be more spread out. It was great to see the community come together to help out. The Red Cross shelter had too many volunteers at times. Now the cleanup begins.
  24. I just searched on the Douglas, Denver, and Jefferson County websites and found quite a few permits that are likely NV related. Some of them (from Denver county) I can't tell and I haven't taken the time to check if all of them correlate with Sprint towers (though most of the ones I checked do). If anyone wants to look for themselves, here's the info. Some companies to search for: Mountain Wireless Construction Inc Mastec Network Solutions LLC GENESIS ELECTRIC INC ADVANCED WIRELESS SOLUTIONS INC INMAN ELECTRICAL SERVICES INC TETRA TECH CONSTRUCTION INC Denver County: there are PDFs on the right hand side under 'permit records for current year', I search the file for 'network' and 'wireless' to find potential permits and then sift through them. Two companies that have come up a lot are Mountain Wireless Construction Inc and Mastec Network Solutions LLC . http://www.denvergov.org/developmentservices/DevelopmentServices/CommercialProjects/BuildingPermits/tabid/436405/Default.aspx Douglas County: search projects with a marketing name of 'Sprint'. These aren't actual permits, but are a process before building permits. http://apps.douglas.co.us/apps/planning/initHome.do If you want actual building permits, search by address or contractor here. The same two companies above have some permits here also. https://apps.douglas.co.us/apps/building/permitSearch.do Jefferson County (Sprint permits only) http://jeffco.us/amandaItoI/index.cfm?fuseaction=PermitSearchByContractor&StartRow=0&PeopleID=226658&Contractor=sprint&Sorter=validstatus.statusdesc
