clbowens
Does anyone know if Sprint's coverage map of the Spark coverage includes coverage from Clear sites where LTE was added?

dkyeager
Does anyone know if Sprint's coverage Spark coverage includes coverage from Clear sites where LTE was added? Not always. Sometime they forget to add it back when they do a Sprint active 8T8R update.
clbowens
Ok, I only ask b/c on their coverage map, in an area where I get excellent Clear B41 coverage and speed, they still show just non-Spark LTE coverage. But I'd rather them show that than them showing an area where there is suppose to be Spark but it's non-Spark LTE or 3G. But, I was just wondering. Joski1624
It's supposed to, but Sprint missed a few Clear sites in Cleveland if you're wondering about that market specifically, and I endorse dkyeager's statement too And the previous reply just showed up for me after I posted :/ Anyway, I was going to add that I've found the opposite to also be true where Spark coverage is overlaid where coverage does not exist either. I've found those ones to mostly be mystical Sprint B41 in rural areas. Edited August 6, 2015 by Joski1624

Tengen31
Sprint doesnt seem that good at their coverage map. There's a city in Minnesota that when from 3G to LTE back in May I think it was and, the coverage map only still shows 3G. creamy1973
Has anyone been having issues with the data network going into "idle" mode. The LTE and spinner goes dark for several moments and then regains it. Not sure if they are updating things in my area but its been going on for a week now. Also I have noticed my Sprint Zone data amounts go back to 0 quite often. I have unlimited so I am not worried but it seems confusing and I wonder if they are making some changes to the network. That is normal behavior for any device, and is not indicative of a network problem. If your device is not using data, why should it be active? Idle allows it to save a little battery. Because it is using data....it goes idle when I am using it and the the circle appears and sometimes it goes to the unable to load on the web pages. I could see if I wasn't using my phone but I am. I could see if I wasn't using my phone but I am. Odd you mention that, my iPhone 6 plus has been doing the same thing but only on my "home tower" (3G only). It will go from strong usable 3G to no service then 30 sec later 1x if 5-10 min then back to strong 3G... Hopping that's a sign my tower will have Lte soon but I don't think that's the case..... I can dream tho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my LG G4 Don't think its my phone, since the Sprint Zone is going haywire for my data calculations. For example yesterday it said I had used 8.13GB, now today its just 0.05GB and it hasn't started over yet. I think they are doing changes behind the scene. I will call and open a ticket up if it continues.
Tengen31
Some places band 41 is overstated. The coverage map shows spark all over Duluth Minnesota, yet I was in that area 3 times this year and, could not get any band 41 at all.
