Finding a Company to Repair iPad 2

I'm trying to find a good company that will fix an iPad 2. My wifi adapter seems to be broken. I somehow made it fly and hit the ground hard (screen not broken at least)

There is actually a company here in my town that works on iPads, I have provided the link below.  I don't exactly what kind of work they do I don't own anything Apple but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call.  Hope this helps!

Sounds like the wifi cable was unplugged from that drop.

 

I would look around locally first to save you shipping time.

Could try it yourself with about $40 in tools from iFixIt. If the card is just unplugged that's all you'll need. If it's broken or the cable is damaged it'll be a bit more, but still cheaper than having someone else work on it. It's not too hard, either.

 

I found this out when I dropped a rock on my nearly new iPad 4...

If it is indeed the wifi antenna was unplugged, you have to go through the screen to get to it. Now that doesn't mean break it but you have to heat the sides to loosen the glue.  Good luck.

I have used this company to fix a couple of  ipods for me and they do ipad repair.

I have the part for it, and have seen videos and such, but the only thing that's making me want someone else to do it, is putting it back together.

Last I recall the Wi-Fi chip in the iPad 2 is sodered to the board. No possible way for it to be disconnected unless the chip has been destroyed.

Might be thinking of one of the newer one's.
