I switched, and yes, I would be one who says it works where I live and work (Where I spend 99 percent of my time). Wanted to stick it out, but my data barely worked on my bus ride between Burnsville and downtown Minneapolis. Who in their right mind would continue to pay over $200 a month (me, wife, and mother in law) for something that barely works when there is an alternative? Sprint data is barely usable in downtown Minneapolis near the IDS tower where I work, and T mobiles data is blazing fast. Its been that way for over a year. I wasn't even going to post in here until I saw folks ripping on people who switch from Sprint, like they insulted your grandmother. Coincidentally, the only other place outside of the Twin Cities metro (where I've found T mobile to have outstanding coverage AND speed) where I spend time is Lake Vermilion in northern MN where the only phones that have service are ATT and T mobile roaming on ATT.

Like I said previously in another thread and in numerous other Sprint related forums. If a certain carrier is not working out for the customers needs, then that customer should do what is best and go to one that does suit their needs. It may very well work out or end up being a false hope since the grass is never ever greener on the other side. But to hang around in the previous carriers forum to bitch and moan about the service which they no longer have only disrupts the forum for current members and basically is against the rules.

Its like friends come over to my house and constantly are saying "hey the food is better next door, This sucks, Can you hurry up with the dinner".

So for those that continue to do so, be forewarned that it will not be tolerated. The admin has made this clear on numerous occasions and we will remove any complaints. The constant complaints need to stop. If they want to stay and participate then that is fine so long as the complaints about Sprint network vision are constructive.

Now excuse me while I comfort my grand mama "Sprint Jones"

I am not taking his side but he clearly states the only reason he posted is because people were ragging on other networks. so what you are saying is in ur post. its ok to rip on other networks but not sprint?

This is just my opinion but i think its because people get so offensive (like you) why there are arguments on here. its just his opinion but at the same time it might be true. i didn't read all the posts on this topic (lazy). From what i can see you are the only one offended by his post.

I would also note you posted: Like I said previously in another thread and in numerous other Sprint related forums. If a certain carrier is not working out for the customers needs, then that customer should do what is best and go to one that does suit their needs.

Personally this is why it took me 2 years to even make an account on this website. all the petty bickering just like what you are doing now. IF he breaks the rules its up to the moderators not you a regular user to go on a crusade and fight anyone who says OMG SPRINT SUXX BRO.

I know for a fact many regular users on here use Verizon,AT&T and even Tmobile i have seen them post information like that time and time agian. even having discussions like the whole Verizon AWS stuff. guess what? completely fine because its constructive. and its actually pretty interesting stuff.

SO if somone comes on here bashing another provider i would expect the moderators to clean that up as well just like some kid coming on here and saying sprint is the devil and im sure they have.

Holey crap! its 7AM and i have been up all night! i am to tired to make a very coherent rant so this is what you get. i hope you understand. orr maby you dont whatever lol.

ugh, f anyone has an issue with another member, use the PM system, or report it. If it's with a staff member, pm them or contact the admin. But since that wasn't done, i will reply here.

I never said that. And yet to be honest, this is a Sprint site, and as Sprint customers we can discuss the pros and cons of our network vs other networks while trying to keep Sprint as the better choice. If after reading all the topics and progress we have outlined within these forums as well as your own real world use, you can determine whether Sprint is the best carrier for your needs. If it is not or if you do not have hope that it will, then move on. But don't expect the staff to just sit back and let the forums be a cesspool of Sprint complaints. There are quite a few other Sprint related forums that allow such complaints. This is not one of them.

I doubt very much that i am the only one bothered by these complaints of Sprint on here. But even if I was the only one, I have every right as a moderator to uphold the rules set forth by the admin of the site. As for being lazy for not reading the whole topic (or any other topic throughout the forum) dealing with these Sprint complaints and understanding why the staff and members get upset is probably part of the reason you don't get it.

For someone that has been here for 2 years as a lurker, I would think that you would have understand by now (or read) how such complaints are not warranted. I would also expect any member see to whom they are voicing their opinion towards before labeling them as a "regular user going on a crusade" .

Again, If anyone has an issue with another member, use the PM system, or report it. If it's with a staff member, pm them or contact the admin.

I disagree. There are thousands of threads, and mods and Robert and get to them all, all the time. Members are well aware of the rules, so bashing sprint on a sprint forum is well...a no. I said previously in another post, just as TS acknowledged..there are other sites for ranting and this isn't one of them. Take it somewhere else, because I personally do not feel like reading it. Every single person on this site is well aware of the struggles of being a sprint customer and the issues with the network. Hence why we are here, to follow the development of network vision and I don't know , learn a few things at the same time.

What was this thread about again? I've completely forgotten.

The topic is not even being discussed anymore. It's just trolls running their mouths and being escorted to the door. Thread closed.

You're a liar. You've been banned before. And now you sneak in with a new screen name and claim to be a new member. Nice try thelasthallow. Which was your previously banned screen name. Well, let me send you back to Banlandia. And BTW, you clearly took a side.

    • S23 and S24 (at least ultra versions) have 4xCA NR. I currently have n41+n41+n25+n71 most places I go.  I think select devices have 2xCA upload but I do not think it is in widespread use yet. CA is still mostly download focused.
    • If they use n41 + n41 2CA, people that are somewhat distant from the cell site will have an OK download but the upload will be a disaster.  Upload capability on b-41 was always a disaster on the old Sprint Network.   Now, with n25 + n41 combination, even the more distant users have a more decent upload.  I see n41 + n41 + n25 now with my S22 and I understand that we will see 4xCA with newer phones in the future.     I also see n41 + n41 + n71 sometimes too. Also some other combinations of 25, 41, 71.  I would think that eventually we will see AWS paired with n41 too.  What I am not sure of is ----  when I see 3xCA on my S22, I can see the 3 channels involved in the download but I am never sure just what I have on the upload. I do not think I have 3xCA on the upload.
    • I don't know enough about the nuts and bolts of NR to know the answer, but is there a reason they're not doing two overlapping 100 MHz n41 carriers and using selective resource shutoff to make each one 97 MHz?  Thus making use of the full 194 MHz instead of leaving 4 MHz unused as implied by the current standard 100+90 configuration? - Trip
    • Looks like another T-Mobile 5G bump happened over the past week and a half, maybe less: n41 carriers are now 90+100 MHz, up from 80+100 (which in turn is up from 40+100 back in early March). This is on top of the new n25 carrier recently. As part of this, it looks like T-Mobile is starting to prefer n25+n41 2CA even when pushing data, rather than having higher levels of CA that would hit higher peak speeds; at least indoors I need to force n41-only if I want to see the full 190 MHz there. To be fair the speeds are plenty quick with that amount of spectrum, and I'm sure they're load balancing, and my guess is this is a little better for battery life? With this expansion, they're now at 10x10+10x10 n25, 15x15 n71, 100+90 n41, for a total of 260 MHz (including FD uplink) of deployed NR here, up from 250 MHz a week ago, 230 MHz two weeks ago, and 190 MHz six months ago. VZW is at 140 MHz minus mmW, 170 if you count n2 DSS. AT&T is at 150 MHz (80+40 n77, 15x15 n5), 210 MHz I think if you count n2 and n66 DSS (guessing they're still running those). With this level of spectrum they should be able to continue offering home internet wherever. Guessing this is the last upgrade they can make before they need to throw new equipment on sites for C-Band. At this rate I figure that'll happen next year on a few dozen high-traffic sites.
