lilotimz
Does that mean lte is activated or not yet? As I said before, 90% of the time, 4g acceptance = live signal.

codex57
Here is the map for all towers in the UCV http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/653-network-vision-site-map-northern-californianevada/ I'm a little surprised Roseville is first, but this is really cool. Now if only they'd get the one that services the Galleria mall cuz reception in there sucks and the free wifi is worse than 3G. I wonder why there were no towers on the mall itself. Too expensive perhaps? I know the last general manager there would have gotten things done quick if a deal could be struck. This current GM doesn't strike me as particularly competent. Sponsor only. Work is beginning all over that region. Possibly that area had backhaul available first so contractors began to work there. The roseville galleria mall I believe has a DAS system or repeaters inside. It is literally a giant concrete and steel block which isn't that conducive to exterior wireless signals... WeRtechSupport
Yep Sprints up there! Very top rack. You can barely see the RRU's up there clearly but the slightly rounded antennas in addition to the fact that they're different looking in comparison to google street view all but confirms sprint is up there! Good one. ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sweeet! I'm thinking between the lower sac and sacramento st towers I should have excellent coverage when they hit the switch. Jstates916
I'll be able to map out the tower that just went up on Douglas and Harding in an hour or two. I'll post in a bit

I can't think of the Galleria without drooling. Ruth's Chris and Il Fornaio. Two of some of my favorite restaurants. lilotimz
This is what I picked up on Sensorly today Sent from my Sprint Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk 2 Great work. Now we just gotta get some people to fill in the gaps on those streets. Let's beat up those t-mobile LTE sensorly folks who just roam on the highway mapping with some mapping of the actual streets. Let's beat up those t-mobile LTE sensorly folks who just roam on the highway mapping with some mapping of the actual streets. This is not what I mapped actually. This is just the sensorly apps mapping of other people. Because I went down some other roads and had lte that are not mapped in that picture. How or can I look at what I have actually mapped in the app, I don't see it.

GiantJay
I'm off tomorrow so can hit up some of the streets but never used that sensorly map before. It's very simple, you just go to the app and select map trip in the bottom right. Press start and drive around, press stop when you are done. I would bring a car charger and or make sure your phone has a full battery because this thing sucks the life out of the battery very fast. GiantJay
I'm off tomorrow so can hit up some of the streets but never used that sensorly map before. I just saw you have the iPhone 5 so the app might be a little different, I am on Android, but it should be pretty much the same thing. GiantJay
Pretty sure the Iphone 5 or any IOS devices can't map on sensorly.... That sucks, but not surprising for iOS. I guess everyone with a Android device will have to do the footwork.

jwigley
I told my work buddy that 4g LTE is almost here and I think he got stoked but he is still jumping ship to Verizon because his wife is beyond tired of waiting. Too bad.
BD786
I can't wait for LTE to make it to Elk Grove, south Sac and West Sac. This way I will be covered everywhere I frequent.
BD786
I also hope SoftBank gets the Sprint deal completed quickly and Clearwire as well. Then let the next gen LTE roll out with building penetration.

Then let the next gen LTE roll out with building penetration.Sprint upped the bid for clearwire to $5 a share today. Not to mention Sprint suing Dish and Clearwire. And Dish backing out of the Sprint deal this week. It's looking pretty well for Sprint/SoftBank. Jstates916
Pretty awesome coverage and speeds off the tower off of Douglas and Harding. Anywhere between 8-26Mbps down
