  1. Shoutout to https://t.co/FLUsJFIu5s! awesome site that lets you switch cell carriers in 7 days no fees @cellbrkr #justice #cellbreaker

  2. Looks better already.. they acted kinda fast. In researching I found https://www.sprint.net/performance/ Pretty sweet map of their network with what looks to be live ping data to and from multiple locations
  3. There's a major crazy outage here in cali. Seems to be affecting most of 209. Been roaming since 10 am. Seems to be affecting multiple carriers here in Lodi. So far I've seen Sprint, Verizon, and Metro affected. Estimated time for restoration for sprint at least is Friday at noon. Anyone know what's up? https://twitter.com/sprintcare/with_replies
  4. I mapped a bunch of lodi the past couple days. I'll try to get to the southwest side/woodbridge area tonight
  5. i mapped around as I ran some errands today. I ran speed tests as much as I could while mapping as well. More mapping to be done tomorrow morning
  6. I'll be doing the mapping tomorrow morning and evening. Well, I'll try to map what I can around Lodi tonight.
  7. And its hit pretty hard, Speeds are all over the place but never below 2 up or down. Seems like I'm getting better speeds on east side/central lodi - 5-15 down and 2-5 up and west side/woodbridge area is a tad slower 2-7 down 2-3 up pings are fantastic everywhere 60-80ms I'm stoked to test out performance after the official go-live. I haven't had a chance to test out stockton yet, I forgot my phone today. Will report in tomorrow.
  8. I've had 800 service is spots of lodi. great 3G speeds andn coverage across Lodi and I just got LTE at Kettleman and lower Sacramento Road. 1.55 amd down with low pings
  9. Speeds around Lodi (except the west side) are waaay better than recent months. 1-3 down 1 up. I don't feel bad about paying for that data add-on anymore
  10. Noted the best speeds I've seen on sprint around here. Was driving past the tower off 99 @ morada lane and noticed that the crane is gone already and speeds tested at 2.15M down and 1 M up, but only for a short distance.
  11. On my way to work and I saw a crane and workers around the crane and tower. This was at the tower on 99 frontage Rd by Raleys in stockton/morada
  12. I'm seeing this around downtown and all across the crosstown and 99. In lodi as well. The area by Raley's is pretty speedy(for sprint, that is) +1 on this, march and i5 has been decent the past months.
  13. My least favorite part. I was/am amazed at the sheer amount of research, planning, and coordination it takes to make PoGs though.
  14. Right? I'm only there one day a week now so I dont feel it as much... but thanksgiving/black friday is still hectic.
  15. When I was up there last, I got blips of 4g as well. It was extremely spotty but very fast. My 3g speeds were the fastest I've seen on sprint, reminded me of verizon. For once my phone was actually useful!
  16. Sweet find dude! I'll be installing this after I flash my new ROM. Thanks for sharing!
  17. I just contacted my mangers and they told me I have to sell a phone before they'll approve my discount. I'm not sure what they have to do with the approval process, since i thought they were done through our rep..but I guess I'll have to wait to get my discount
  18. Awesome, thanks for the info! cheap phones or not, I'm all about the cheaper plans. Will I be able to do this with an existing contract?
  19. Hello All, Staples is becoming an authorized retailer for Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Our Verizon rep told us we'll get half off our bill now if we have them, but we haven't heard form the Sprint rep just yet. Does anyone know when kind of kickbacks sprint gives for being an authorized retailer?
  20. I have, most days. they were pretty horrible the past couple weeks. In the last few days though, there have been great 3g speeds/pings. Also, I'm not sure if its related but one of our clients was reporting internet connection issues here in stockton. They have (now had) clearwire service, and when we called them for more info they reported to us that the signal was so weak (1-2 bars) and slow because they turned off towers in our area. They were connecting via WiMax. So, it sounds like the wimax towers are being shut down here! This is the first I've heard of that happening, but I've been slacking on keeping up with recent developments.
