Last lte they fired up with backhaul in elkton near elkton sheriff office has band 41 panels i just notice no broadcast yet. Lot band 41 now in the area newark and elkton md ,just need 2nd carrier fired up.

Update last tower on i 95 in delaware across from sherdian hotel finally got fiber and band 41 is broadcasting. Starting run out towers to see updated that equipment was on there 2 years ago with the 8r8t panels .that took forever lol

I am back in central Delaware for the week. The tower in Sandtown, DE is now live with LTE. The one in Felton, DE is still 3G but it appears to have new back haul now based on the speed and ping times.

Lte plus diff expanding lot 8t8r in upper part delaware now also in elkton md . Lower delaware they still working on backhaul issues. Lot 3g towers still in lower de.

That will really hurt Sprint in the long run and can't they do microwave hops

Mostly rural area in lower delaware , so not on top getting it upgrade.

They have over the last 6 months set up (or in the process of setting it up) microwave backhaul on many of the sites below the canal that haven't yet received LTE. As mentioned almost all of them are rural (and GMOs). So far (in DE) there aren't any GMO LTE sites.

 

The biggest problem area (as far as perception goes) are the sites at the beach. There is LTE in Lewes, DE and Ocean City, MD but nothing in between along the coast there.

Probably, most of the Clearwire sites are in Northern DE. There are only 3 or 4 down south and if I remember correctly only 2 (in my opinion) are candidates for conversion.

I don't think there are any voice gaps on the major travel routes, there are some rural areas that you will roam onto Verizon and you will drop a call crossing in to those areas.

There is 1x smr, just not on the GMO sites. I would say most of my calls in the area have been on the SMR band.
