  1. What's the deal with running at low power, some sort of testing? Or just to tease us… lol. Wasn't aware they were doing that
  2. Sounds maybe like they got 800 MHz going there. Think that's what I need on the red mill tower, since I still get not lte at work...maybe soon
  3. I doubt that was the red mill tower...that tower is pretty weak and disappointing right now. Hope they get more upgrades and tuning on it soon. No lte inside lowes half a mile away, and I clock between 2 and 6 mb right near the tower. Seems stronger facing Wilmington than newark. Tryptx..I feel your pain. Sprint only received the resources for the upgrades about a year ago, and like they said, they just prioritizing areas, and just takes time, but the upgrades have been regularly flowing. De has gone from something like 20% coverage to like 75% coverage with lte just in the last year. Hoping will be worthwhile in the end to have the unlimited data
  4. Wow, finally! Phone still seems to prefer 3G at my apt, so I'm guessing no 800 MHz yet. Working later, so real curious to see how it works there
  5. Looks like a bunch of capacity upgrades today...still nothing on the red mill tower though
  6. I think I caught some of that lte too, but assumed I was picking it up from a different tower. And that overload leads me to think that the bachaul not fully complete. We got a problem if the tower can't handle local traffic right after its back hauled, lol
  7. It's strange, and I don't understand it. I get very mixed results from the tower. It's definitely improved a lot, but I can get results that vary anywhere from .1 to over 1mb. I'm not sure if it varies so much due to traffic, or if the tower has different speed connection channels or something like that. 1 min it works great, and the next I can't even send a text, lol
  8. Thanks... I forgot which band was which, lol. I'm excited now, and really hope so, been waiting on this tower forever!
  9. I thought band 25 was 3G… thought iphone only gets lte band 26. Maybe that's why. Doesn't even seem like back hauled 3G though. Clocked a whopping .14 today on that tower, lol
  10. It's possible you may have been picking up the tower just north of there. At that corner I got 2 bars lte after toggling airplane mode, then switched to 5 bars 3G. I check that tower nightly from my window, and have never gotten lte from it. I hope you are right about the upgrades, and maybe will go live soon. I do appreciate your help!
  11. You tease! Neither the sprint map, nor the 3G signal on my phone agrees with you that the kirkwood tower is upgraded. What made you think it's upgraded? I've given up and figured sprint just abandoned that tower, lol.
  12. Getting on your nerves? Lol… try living right above it and working right below it. Glad you noticed the giant hole too, hehe
  13. Not too familiar with the process, but I've seen some speed increases out of that tower that seem a little more than coincidence. Not consistent though. Used to always get between .01 and .1, and lately been more like .1 to .4, but still get the .01 sometimes. Strange, like partial back haul. Never got more than .1 before, and I check it daily
  14. Been work going on near that red mill tower for like a month. Been keeping my fingers crossed
  15. Last time I was at the mall, I was getting lte at cabelas, but usually get poor to no service at the mall. What was happening to you is how my service is at work...so I have an unusable phone 9 hours a day...frustrating.
