Sensorly 4G LTE Coverage Comparisons

Recommended Posts

I thought it might be interesting to compare the Sensorly 4G LTE maps of Sprint, The Dark Side (AT&T), and Verizon.

Clearly, Sprint is behind The Dark Side, but only very slightly behind. Even Verizon, while it has very broad coverage, is rather spotty and incomplete.

(Maps were collected at about 7:00 PM EST, Tuesday, November 20.)

(Also, we should probably note that Sprint LTE mappers are obsessed, and many are likely

to be deranged :jester: and may drive many, many miles trying to find that elusive LTE,

while Dark Side and Verizon mappers may be slightly more normal.)

(Thanks to Dkoellerwx for helping me show the full US map. Click on each image to see it in

a larger size.)

To see the whole US, click the fullscreen button on the upper right side of the map :tu:

course, then you can't switch between providers

Not even if you pay the ETF

Yeah, they have to deal with data caps. Sprint users could care less.

And they apparently haven't looked at the data usage. Very very little data is used.

Checked the data usage on my phone for sensorly last month. It had used 315mb of data, if you only get 2gb you might not want to use the program that much.
