Sent from my Coconut Wireless You're assuming that it's purely an issue of money that's keeping them from deploying more quickly, when in reality I think they're moving as quickly as they possibly can already. Remember, Network Vision will both save Sprint a lot of money and will help to retain customers... though it's for different reasons, they want it done just as badly as we do.

lilotimz
Not to mention you have to find the individuals with the skill set that sprint needs to renovate its towers alongside additional training on company rules & equipment installation procedures. Money can only do so much. Logistics, training, and planning matters a lot. Throwing money at a problem doesn't solve it.

astrobuf
More specific please? (location) Use Google Maps and zoom in on 275 Commercial St - St Paul MN and you'll see an old photo of the tower under work. This is the major Sprint tower that serves the east side of St Paul. astrobuf
Where did you find out that it is a Sprint tower? Was based upon my signal strenth experience when travelling through the area. Nevertheless, we do know work is being done on Sprint’s network in MN and it’s only a little more time before LTE is live. If you become a sponsor you can access the sponsor section which shows Sprint’s cell sites and Network Vision sites that have been completed. aliensporebomb
I was east of Downtown St. Paul yesterday and saw no LTE so yeah, the news it was TMobile/AT&T doesn't surprise me. I guess I'll just keep an eye out.

I still mainly see the same states Just different cities when new markets are announced. If I remember correctly? Didn't sprint say they would have over 100 LTE markets by the end of the year? Will sprint even come close to that number with a little over a month left? Sent from my Coconut Wireless

Sent from my Coconut Wireless Sprint was very careful to not say that. They said they had 100 cities where deployment is under way. Sprint is trying to under promise and over deliver. But instead it is more like under promise and deliver. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2

Sent from my Coconut Wireless Your initial post was about them receiving $ from Softbank and that that influx should speed up deployment... $$ is NOT the only driving factor, nor is it even the main one either. No amount of $ can speed up permits being approved, supplies being made where short, nor can it help where there is simply a lack of skilled labor to perform the duties needed. Oh and let's not forget the weather too... There are a million moving parts here and $ is just a small part of it.
