1x800 can be used by basically almost every phone released in the past 3 years. Nothing to do with "Spark" which denotes the Band 41 TDD-LTE deployment.

Downgraded my prl with less 1x800 priority and my call quality has increased

So what is with the older Sprint phones, lets say Wimax handsets? 800 voice was avaolable or just 850?

what's cluster launched? anyways, I can no longer complain that maui is stagnant. i mapped a bit on sensorly =)

When Sprint upgrades its towers to the new hardware, the new hardware is turned on all at once, on all neighboring towers.

Old equipment and the new equipment do not play well with each other.

This is too avoid dropped calls in the case if a customer's phone is switching from one tower to another tower that has older equipment.

Strange, I never saw 1x800 on the LTE Discovery app on my Note 3 but I see it all the time on my new Note 4 Edited by Nacron

some more permits got issued on Oahu.  Updated my map.

Thanks. Although they technically were approved, not issued. The city can sometimes be notoriously slow between approving and issuing permits.

On another note, the tower closest to my house had a permit issued Mar 10, 2014 for B25. Inspection May '14 - Work not started, Inspection Oct '14 - Work not started. Sad panda

It should penetrate buildings better. In Vegas I only had HD voice inside Caesars Palace

How's service lately? Is LTE pretty stable on oahu or atleast Honolulu? I'll be there end of the month.

For the most part it's stable, you'll probably get eHRPD indoors as it seems there is only one b26 site on the island. Most of Honolulu and Waikiki is good
