4G LTE not working in Wichita KS

If you are holding on to the signal, then that is not an issue with the phone. I have an EVO LTE, and in my part of Kansas City, the network was very far along, and I did not have issues with it. Do what you have to, but I would recommend waiting it out.

I love the new path on Sensorly that shows someone using Sprint LTE on Sensorly on the 1R/19L runway out at KICT on both an approach and take off. Good stuff!

Normally, a speed like that would be attributed to a very weak signal. However, if you are getting that speed with that signal (which is fair, not great but not poor) than it may be an issue with the tower. I would try a different tower and see if you still get that result.

The issues with the EVO LTE have been discussed extensively on this site, it is well acknowledged that there is an issue. Once all of the towers are completed, it should be less noticeable.

It will not being less noticeable in a 100% market. That was already proven in the Waco FIT. I also saw the same thing in an area that was completely covered by LTE.

Please clarify "It will not being less noticeable in 100% market." You mean in the Waco FIT there was cases of very slow download speeds? I just wonder if after the LTE gets turned on the towers and everyone floods them it will bog down.

I connected to a different tower Last night and still saw under 1mbps. Either The towers are still being worked on or there is a problem with the Evo. there's no way any tower in wichita is overloaded or will be anytime soon.

I'm not sure which tower you're on, but speeds have been good for me around Wichita.

What was your signal like at the time? You cannot rely on bars for indicating LTE signal strength. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2040-bars-lie-for-lte-signal-strength-how-to-determine-your-actual-lte-signal-strength/
