    LG G3

Thanks. Luckily, I was able to take care of it on my own. My account on Sprint.com shows "VWDOM0 - Domestic Voice Over WiFi Unl - $0.00." I fixed it by re-provisioning my G3. Maybe this will help others... Before beginning, turn WiFi calling and WiFi off, then opened the dialer and enter: ##72786# - Your G3 will go through the motions and reboot. When my G3 came back up, it updated some things. PRL for one, and rebooted again. Once it came back up WiFi calling worked.

I'm hopeful that 3rd Party battery covers come out with Qi charging. I have a bunch of Nokia DT-900 Wireless Charging pads between my house and my GF's house for our Nexus 5/7 devices.

When attempting to enable WiFi Calling, I repeatedly get the message "Network Error, Please Try Again" after accepting the limitations (911), provide my electronic signature, etc. I click Next and the Network Error message comes up. Makes me wonder... Is it Sprint or something with my router configuration? Is anyone else experiencing problems enabling WiFi calling today? Would existing VoIP services conflict? I have two VoIP providers and their corresponding Telephone Adapters set up for home phone service. Google Voice (Still works!) with an ObiTalk device and the other is a Linksys PAP2 with service from VoIPo. EDIT: see follow-up below: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/6006-lg-g3/?p=337764
  4. Yeah, I know. Right? It's a nice device and the size of the screen is ideal, however It just isn't as buttery smooth as my Nexus 5 w/4.4.4 on it. I had gotten used to the pure Google experience and miss it dearly. I do like the LG G3 Keyboard with the number keys along the top row, but miss the option to have the comma key appear on the main KB screen. I also miss the display of punctuation marks when I press the space key (With predictive word suggestions turned off.) I may exercise the 14-Day return period and stick with my Nexus 5 until the LG G3 Prime (Snapdragon 805) or GPE comes out.
  5. Yes, I upgraded from my Nexus 5 to the LG G3 on my Everything Data - Share 1500 plan just this morning at WorstBuy.

The manager of the Mobile Department at the Hickory, NC Best Buy told me that it is one or the other on the current, active promotion of a $50 Gift Card OR you can use your already registered $50 Phone Freedom, but not both. They are not able to "Double-Dip" on the discounts. Essentially, they are giving the $50 Phone Freedom to anyone who upgrades through store closing tomorrow. All of the rest of us who signed up for Phone Freedom can still get the $50 Gift Card applied instantly until December 31st. Mine was $56.99 out the door this morning. I haven't played with my G3 at all just yet, but I'm about to!

    LG G3

I stopped by Best Buy tonight and my local store opened their locked cabinet and showed me they have 9 in stock in only the dark Graphite-looking color. Price $199 with a 2-year agreement, but they will be giving everyone $50 off with their current promo that ends this Saturday night (7/12/2014).

I called my local Best Buy and they said they have the G3 in-stock for Sprint and they will be available to purchase tomorrow for $199. Here's my beef though... Verizon is having a 50% off deal where you can pre-order the G3 for $99. Best Buy said they will match Verizon's price, plus allow me to use my $50 Phone Freedom discount to get the G3 for $50 OTD if I switch to Verizon. They said they will not match another carrier's pricing to get the G3 for Sprint at Verizon's price
  9. No B26 since Saturday night because I flashed the older .17 radio to get a useable LTE connection around Walt Disney World on a regular basis. The reason for that is I was finding myself on slow/unusable 3G on the 4.4.4 stock radio (1.16). When I needed it most, data wouldn't work I could airplane toggle and get connected to B26 when around the Kisssimmee and Lake Buena Vista areas, only to fall back to 3G within minutes. I may flash the 1.16 radio back and see if it will connect to B26 later this week at Epcot and Animal Kingdom. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. Getting great speeds on B25 at Disney's Hollywood Studios and cheesing it up with Glow With The Show Mickey Ears . I hope the screenshots post and aren't huge. If so, I will fix them ASAP. This is my GF's kids first visit to Disney. We are having a great time!
  11. Thanks for the info/link. Cary is right there next to Raleigh, so it doesn't surprise me that they will be getting B41. The Hickory-Lenoir-Morganton area is very rural in comparison, so I'm not sure if Sprint is planning to add B41 around here. Some posts on S4GRU make it sound like Sprint is going to put B41 on every tower/site where it is possible and other posts make it sound like it is only going up in major metro areas. I hope it is almost all sites. Thanks again.
  12. Has anyone experienced B41 LTE at Walt Disney World yet? In the Magic Kingdom area, It looks like the site at the top of the Contemporary Resort is still only 3G Accepted. I will be there before the end of the month and look forward to seeing B26 and B41. We won't see either here in North Carolina for quite a while I'm afraid.
  13. The long neglected site, off of 192 and south of the Holiday Inn - Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee has finally seen some NV love (I think). Last week, https://network.sprint.com/search/34747 showed nothing, now it shows "1 Data Speed Upgrade," so that usually means the Antenna work is done and 3G is accepted, at least around here in NC it does. That site gets heavily utilized in the late evenings and morning hours from all of the nearby resorts, condos and hotels and I'll be using it later this month. I sure hope they can light up LTE pretty quickly there.
  14. I asked this same question on release day with ZERO replies. Mine is still not working. I came from an EVO 4G LTE with Visual Voice Mail, which I believe is a big part of the problem. Sprint told me they were opening a support ticket when I called. Still no phone call back from Sprint regarding the issue. I'm calling back and escalating tomorrow.
  15. My experience has been that I'm parked on 3G a lot more often in NC. It is pretty miserable as we still have very slow EVDO speeds and no B26 LTE, even though NV 1.0 is pretty much done in my area. Until B26 LTE comes online, it will be a pretty crummy experience compared to the .17 radio I was running before. I may just downgrade the radio to .17 until I go to Orlando this summer, then I will flash the .13 radio back
  16. Still no VoiceMail indicator. I just left myself a message to test. I thought that was one of the fixes!? I have updated my Profile and tested a second time and still no indicator. What a dissapointment.
  17. There was a new site E-SE of Taylorsville off of Church Rd. (CLT Market), however it no longer appears on network.sprint.com. It was in the oddest of places too with no major roads nearby and very rural. Seeing that new site pop up gave me some hope that Sprint is starting to add new sites. I just don't see further proof of it.

    LG G3

I hope to see the G3 launch with Wireless Charging. If it doesn't, I'll pass and wait for something else. I guess my Nexus 5 and 7 have spoiled me with the feature.
  19. This will be great, especially if Sprint will bring B41 to towers/sites outside of the major metro areas. I live and work about 45 minutes NW of Charlotte, NC and this area has occasional slow times with B25 LTE and EVDO is still extremely slow with speeds running around 5.8kB/s (0.05Mb/s) in this NV1.0 complete area. We won't see B26 for a while as emergency services have not completed vacating their radio frequencies yet
  20. Not the first sighting, but I'm glad to see it coming online in more areas. We've had 1x800 in the Hickory, NC area for at least the past 6+ months. It is not yet optimized, but my phone will always connect to 1x800 when I make or receive a phone call, despite my being less than a 1/2 mi. from the site and have a -58 to -62dBm 1x800 signal there, which is nice. For comparison, LTE on 1900 is around -85 to -91dBm when I'm at home.
  21. Not that I prefer to shoot that way, I just like having it as an option. I don't print photos much anymore and since most displays are 16:9, why not?
  22. Still no 16:9 option it seems. I am disappointed about that, but otherwise welcome it being a standalone app that can be updated often.
  23. Worker trapped at top of cell tower at the 3800 Block of Shamrock Dr. in east Charlotte http://www.wbtv.com/story/25218063/man-trapped-at-top-of-cell-tower-in-east-charlotte?clienttype=generic&mobilecgbypass No mention if he was working on a Sprint project, but as of right now, the story is just breaking. It sure looks like A/L RRU's and Sprint antennas on the top tier: This site shows 2 Data Speed upgrades on network.sprint.com. It is 3G/4G accepted.
  24. How about BestSkinsEver or Xtreme Guard screen protectors? They are just like the Zagg invisible shield product, but for much less. Xtreme Guard is the least expensive when on special. They are 85% off right now: http://slickdeals.net/f/6792982-xtremeguard-coupon-85-off-any-screen-or-full-body-protectors-85-off-free-shipping No Minimum Order with coupon Lucky85 http://www.xtremeguard.com/LG-Google-Nexus-5-Screen-Protectors-p/lg-nexus-5-screen-protector.htm They also have a "HI-DEF" (Dry Install) product that some people prefer.
  25. I know how frustrating it is. The LTE latencies in my home area have consistently been 110ms or higher @ RSRP -80dBm, even at 2AM. If I travel to Asheville or Charlotte, NC, I see latencies of 75ms or less. I used to think it was the Greenville, SC MSC, but Asheville uses the Greenville MSC too.
