Finally had a chance to compare LTE signals on my EVO vs my wife's moto X. When the phones were side by side my EVO showed about 8-10 db less than the Moto X. 1X was about the same, but LTE wasn't close. Signal levels were checked with the SignalCheck app. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4

My wife's phone just received an update to 139.14.1.

She has been very pleased so far. The slightly curved back makes it a really easy phone to hold. It feels much smaller than my EVO. My wife is also very 'selective' about her phones and she hasn't complained yet. If your local Sprint store doesn't have one, drop by an AT&T store so she can hold on and get a feel for it.

I am not sure if this will be a positive post for the Moto X or a negative post for EVO 4G LTE but here goes.. Up until last week I was the only one in the family with an LTE phone which is an EVO 4G LTE. I have been able to connect to LTE in certain areas around DC so I thought all was good. Well last night, we were driving around and I noticed my wife's new Moto X was pulling in 4G in areas my phone wouldn't begin to sniff 4G. Her Moto X was able to transfer data across 4G about a mile further from the nearest active tower than my EVO. SignalCheck isn't installed on her phone yet so I don't have any hard numbers, but the 4G icon was still lit and I was pulling in web pages quite fast. So like I started, not sure if this behavior is sign of good signal capability on the Moto X or just showing me how crappy my EVO really is..

Can we get a release date already? My wife is badly in need a new phone and she is getting impatient. We stopped by an AT&T store to hold the device and it felt great in the hand. It doesn't feel large at all for a 4.7" screen device. I even preferred the feel of it over my EVO 4G LTE.

I would like to see this come to market too. Android needs a good physical keyboard phone this year.

According to phonescoop, ATT&T is claiming the only US vendor to supply 64GB model. I am really sick of exclusive deals! http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=23994&cdvn=news&newsarticleid=36239&mapcode=consumer|wireless

Has anyone picked up 4G in nokesville the past week?

Did you have to do anything to turn it on? In settings -> Google Now I have Show cards based on Gmail checked and Packages are set to On. Hmm....

Has anyone actually had Google Now generate package shipment card from their gmail? I haven't had mine do this yet and was curious if others had this actually work...

Sprint definitely has something funky going on around the airport. I was getting a 4G signal while roaming on Verizon for voice...

I picked up 4G in nokesville this morning on my way to work.

I see the same behavior sending sprint to sprint on an EVO 4g LTE. -
