If the screen says CA not configured does that mean the phone does not have it enabled at all or does it just mean it simply isn't being employed at the time? The band shown is 41, of course.

Wifi is often overloaded and, in my experience, incredibly slow, often to the point of being entirely useless. Even in my apartment my Sprint b41 connection yields 50 - 70 Mbps while wifi is often crawling but still usable. That said, I remain on my wifi and refuse to hog Sprint's bandwidth when I don't need to. So should everyone else so long as wi-fi is still usable.

Anywhere one gets wifi (home, work, school, gym...Most everywhere), one does have simultaneous voice and data. And no one needs to be browsing the web and conducting a voice call while operating a motor vehicle (the only place one likely does not have wifi). So I absolutely do not get why this would be a deal breaker for anyone.

What was that update 2 days ago? Obviously not any 7.X update. I imagine security related?

The media is so pissed the massively overhyped hurricane didn't rip off chunks of the East Coast and otherwise completely decimate humanity that they are literally out hunting for anything at all to justify their bizarre, inflated statements. Was their damage? Sure. But was it ever at all in danger of being "the worst storm in 100 years" (as many began oddly calling it)? Absolutely not. Life here in South Florida is essentially completely unscathed though folks to our north did experience more issues than we did.

BTW been in Miami Beach since Monday night and have had no real issues with Sprint service. I dropped to 3G once....deep inside a building where we were celebrating a hurricane party. Like all drunk idiots we then proceeded outside where we each immediately reconnected to the second band 41 carrier available on the island. Overall.. Long vacation, too much alcohol, very little wind nor rain and excellent, largely unfaltering, Sprint service.

Why would you think iPhone 7 speed tests would be any different from any other 2XCA speed test from any 2 or 3x CA (in 3x CA enabled markets like Kansas City or Chicago) capable Android phone?

Another excellent point. I guess the lesson here is if Sprint doesn't work for you then simply don't use them. For me Sprint is good to excellent. It is others for whom I feel badly. That said I still find it surprising and disappointing that many decently sized metro areas STILL lack band 41..like my hometown of Lexington, KY. A metro area of half a million still with no band 41? Sprint has a ton of work yet to do, even within its native footprint. So I guess that even further bolsters your contention.
