  1. Top Rack for sure. Can't mistake that rectangular alcatel-lucent PCS 1900 RRU at all. Furthermore, Sprint legacy PCS antennas are kinda skinny and comes in pairs like those of the top rack.

Second rack is ATT with a single Ericsson RRU behind the middle antenna.

Side Note - I did make the Alcatel-lucent network vision gear ... check those 2 RRU's attached to the monopole below the top rack. Alu new look PCS 1900 above the SMR 800 rru.

I only know the Samsung gear from being in their market.  Is that a mini-Clearwire setup between the first and second rack?  Looks like the protection site near my house.

  2. I see I see. Does anyone know how far smr 1x will travel? Nv might screw up my battery life at work if I go from roamin with mobile data off to having fringe signal. I don't know how far in comparison it will travel because is some areas I connect to fringe 1900 but idk how 800 will effect this.

No idea, it goes into the same category of how far does LTE travel question.  There are million different combinations to punch into that calculation.

digi hit the nail on the head, depending on tower height, antenna downtilt, RF interference, physical interference (buildings/hills/trees/signs/etc), sector direction, etc.  That list could go on and on and on.

Where I camp, I get a more reliable signal from a tower about 3 miles away vs. a tower 1 mile away due to trees and sector positioning.

  3. I'm speculating, but I've noticed that the moment I switch from 2000 back to 65009, my 4G LTE refuses to connect.

Are you using stock TW or CM10.1?  There is a bug on CM10.1 with the RIL changes in the last month where you can install CM and LTE/eHRPD works until the first reboot, then it appears the network registration dies and you are stuck on shady EVDO/1X.

  4. I started using s4gru less and less due to the forum runner debacle. I finally caved to tapatalk. I had used previous versions and not liked it, however, this version 4 beta is growing on me.
