"How far does signal A, B, or C travel?" is a question that needs to be banished forever.

I see I see. Does anyone know how far smr 1x will travel? Nv might screw up my battery life at work if I go from roamin with mobile data off to having fringe signal. I don't know how far in comparison it will travel because is some areas I connect to fringe 1900 but idk how 800 will effect this.
No idea, it goes into the same category of how far does LTE travel question. There are million different combinations to punch into that calculation.
digi hit the nail on the head, depending on tower height, antenna downtilt, RF interference, physical interference (buildings/hills/trees/signs/etc), sector direction, etc. That list could go on and on and on.
Where I camp, I get a more reliable signal from a tower about 3 miles away vs. a tower 1 mile away due to trees and sector positioning.

I think a lot of the Nextel hardcore users are going down with the ship, then will badmouth Sprint all the way to their local Big Red or Blue store to get f'd on a new device and limited data plan. Then they will keep badmouthing Sprint as they pay twice as much for data caps and overages. Somehow, it will be Sprint's fault

focusing on the top rack??
I'd get the top two Racks. lilotimz is pretty good at calling them, so he is probably right. I know there are many sites in my market that have everything but backhaul installed.

Can you get a better shot of the bottom of the antennas? If you see 6 cables it is probably Sprint, if you see 4 cables, its probably at&t

AJ put up a thread a few weeks ago with a few select areas that might need new sites or "protection" sites due to the PCS G Block where LTE is currently being deployed. AJ said it was due to the grographical split on the frequency, maybe BEA?
Edit in: Found it http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3703-potential-sprint-rural-buildout-by-2016/

98% of the shareholders want the merger. It's going to happen lol. Can't wait.
I thought it was 80% overall and 98% of those that participated in the vote

Clear has said the 2000 sites are ready, just need to be hooked into the Sprint network.

I'm speculating, but I've noticed that the moment I switch from 2000 back to 65009, my 4G LTE refuses to connect.
Are you using stock TW or CM10.1? There is a bug on CM10.1 with the RIL changes in the last month where you can install CM and LTE/eHRPD works until the first reboot, then it appears the network registration dies and you are stuck on shady EVDO/1X.

Maybe it isn't an option for the iPhone? I don't see an option for that....

I started using s4gru less and less due to the forum runner debacle. I finally caved to tapatalk. I had used previous versions and not liked it, however, this version 4 beta is growing on me.

I only know the Samsung gear from being in their market. Is that a mini-Clearwire setup between the first and second rack? Looks like the protection site near my house.
