  1. What if the nexus 5 doesnt? What are u looking for in the nexus 5 that would blow u away? Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  2. Well lucky for u there is no 16 gb version for the note 3. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  3. Should be 32 gb version since samsung said they are only selling 32 gb and 64 gb. Besides there is a sd card slot so it shouldnt matter. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  4. Not sure why sprint pulls this crap. I would be so irritated if i was still looking to get the note 3. I am starting to get worried that the LG G2 will be $249 instead of the $199 like all the other carriers. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  5. I am not surprised the 5s outsold the 5c in the US. The 5c will have boosted sales a lot when china gets the iPhone. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  6. No it doesn't. Under the "Network" section it says LTE: Band 25. Band 25 is LTE 1900. http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones/SPH-L720ZPASPR-specs Network Frequencies and Data Type LTE: Band 25; CDMA 1x/EVDO Rev.A: 800/850/1900MHz; HSPA+/UMTS: 850/900/1900/2100MHz; GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
  7. Removing the Qslide is easy. See the XDA thread below or you can just click the Qslide button to toggle it off. This sounds like more unnecessary steps but whatever. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448686 There is a mod for Tmobile G2 (although I believe it should work for ATT and Sprint as well) to remove the Sound and Brightness slider in notification window. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2455091
  8. Yeah the software is ok but the tech bloggers who reviewed the G2 hate the software with a passion and how its so bad. I personally don't see how it is soo bad compared to Touchwiz or Sense. Now one that does bug me about the LG software and I hope that it can be fixed with a custom debloated stock ROM to disable it is the excessive sound and brightness bar in the notification panel. I just hate how it takes up so much of the notification real estate. I feel like 1/4 of the screen is gone with those 2 rows there. What is weird is that the Verizon software version doesn't have this extra sound and brightness bar in it. I expect the ATT, Tmobile and Sprint software versions to have the excessive sound and brightness bar smack down on the notification panel. Even the default QSlide row takes up too much space in the notification screen but luckily you can disable that huge QSlide row by unchecking the QSlide button shortcut at the top of the screen.
  9. HAHA i told ya. Did you see my pic I posted comparing the LG Optimus G Pro and Galaxy Mega 6.3. Its freakishly big and I can't fathom how you would put that in your pocket not to mention holding that thing in one hand.
  10. Any guesses on when you guys think HTC will announce the HTC One Max? There has to be a reason why HTC is taking so long to announce this thing. At this rate I assume more delays so I am thinking probably November.
  11. I see. Yeah not sure about a waterproof case coming out for the LG G2.
  12. Why would the S4 be any more safer than the LG G2 for water proofness? Are there waterproof cases for the S4 but not for the LG G2?
  13. Wow way to rehash an old comment. Those were different circumstances that are now OBE.
  14. Well also the Nexus 5 has a smaller battery (2300 maH rumored) and probably no IR blaster. Could be small details to most but to me the Nexus 5 smaller battery of 2300 maH vs. G2 battery of 3000 maH is a huge difference. I don't think Google has made enough improvements in software to compensate for a 700 maH difference. The HTC One also has a 2300 maH battery and from what I hear the battery life isn't all that great. I also like the idea of having the IR blaster hardware in the phone even though it may not be something that I would use everyday. With Android 4.3 including the remote control API, I feel that if I got the G2, I am confident that developers could produce ROMs to enable that functionality and I can flash a custom CM ROM that can enable that feature. I know a lot of people are under the assumption that the Nexus 5 will be exactly like the LG G2 but I have my doubts on that. I am sure LG might reuse some hardware parts from the LG G2 for the Nexus 5 but the Nexus 5 will be different.
  15. I don't trust reps at all at this point. I like to base things on facts and the the fact is that the iPhone 5S supports B26 LTE 800. This is confirmed via Apple's website and through the FCC docs. I don't see why there would be any reason to not have the iPhone 5S support LTE 800.
  16. I don't see anything wrong with Digi's comment. It is true is it not that the iPhone device is pretty small at 4 inches. I don't see anything that is instigating a iOS vs. Android argument. I completely agree with him as to why I would not consider the iPhone at this moment simply because of the screen size of the phone. If Apple makes a 5 inch iPhone version and makes the software a bit better, only then will it tickle my interest.
  17. Only in some areas. Sprint is going to try to deploy a 5x5 LTE carrier in as many markets as it can. But at this point, I just want to see some LTE 800 launched.
  18. True but if I was a betting man, I would fully expect to see the Nexus 5 especially if AT&T and Tmobile are selling it. Even more so if Verizon is going to be left out of the Nexus 5 game. The GS4 mini OTOH is a toss up but either way both devices have been confirmed to support triband LTE.
  19. They should just buy Mike just to shut them down to get rid of IDEN. Need to clear up the interference issues in the Canada IBEZ markets.
  20. HAHA...I kid I kid. Well assuming you didn't get a gold one, you should be able to exchange it at a Sprint store. The alternative could be that you reflash the stock ROM and see if that fixes it.
  21. I wonder if Samsung is making another commercial to slam on the iPhone 5S. Oh Hi Mom and Dad!
  22. OH HELLL NO!!! Samsung should be testing Tizen with a new flagship phone name series to not confuse customers. Please Samsung don't ruin the Galaxy S series for Android with a Tizen smartphone. We don't even know if Tizen will even be successful. Look at Blackberry 10 or Windows Phone 8 and those are two examples of how tough it is for a new mobile OS to enter the market with Android and iOS having such a huge lead in apps available.
