  1. All Spark phones have the Spark symbol. Ft Myers doesn't have Spark. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  2. The old town area has horrible coverage on any phone. The nearest tower is still legacy. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  3. It is almost like the past week or so they turned off Band 25 and just left on Band 26. It's harder to get band 41 also because of Band 26. Sometimes i have to toggle to get band 41. They are probably tuning and aiming band 26 towers. I am not complaining though compared to this time last year. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  4. I know the other Premium Outlet on Vineland had horrible service last time I was there, hopefully it's better now. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  5. I wish the tower near downtown would be LTE accepted soon. Anyone see if NV equipment is on it tet? Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  6. Is it true that the csfb software has problems swiching from B26 to B41. Some research has found that some csfb software has problems switching from a lower frequency to a higher one. There are a couple time when driving here in Tampa switching from band 26 to band 41 it drops to 3G and stays unless I toggle airplane. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  7. On some sites yes. Some have the software patch now but a new problem has showed up. Going from B26 to B41 the connection in some places drops to 3G and stays unless I toggle airplane. The sites have csfb on them, I can connected to any band alone make calls et. .but when driving there are some handoff issues from B26 to B41. Some research on the Web and a person on Android Central says the csfb software has some problems switching from a low frequency to a higher one, one higher than PCS. This might be a permanent problem until volte is rolled out. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  8. http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/sprint-cfo-were-banking-25-ghz-8t8r-radios-network-differentiation/2014-05-19 '> http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/sprint-cfo-were-banking-25-ghz-8t8r-radios-network-differentiation/2014-05-19 This article states that no current Sprint Spark phone will be able to take full advantage of the new antennas yet. It's says customers will have to upgrade their phones later this year or next. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  9. I haven't received anything in the mail yet notifying me of the proposed throttle. How is Sprint going to notify it's customers when June 1st is coming up soon? Not everybody reads tech sites like this. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  10. Reread what he said. He didn't say he was using it as a replacement, he said occasionally as he has cable at home. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  11. So nobody can tell me why band 26 is not handing off nicely to band 41? Some sites are dropping to 3G when switching from 26 to 41. It's like what sites with no csfb enabled did. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  12. Google maps for one is extremely slow under 768kps or so expecially navigating. Pandora, Google Music et.. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  13. That's what my wife and I did. We changed our address to the address of the framily account holder we wanted to join then changed it back a couple days later. My wife and I went from just two in a framily plan to 10 in the new one. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  14. I think there are two antennas in the housing of the panel...someone correct me if I'm wrong .. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  15. I'm running into the same thing here in Tampa. Maybe they have to adjust the tilt on band 26 because allot of the sites here have the same or even slightly worst dbm. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  16. With more data intensive apps and normal web use 5 gig will be the norm soon imo. Like I said earlier just 5 or 6 hours on Google Music I used .92 gigs. I have wifi at home but don't at work, don't tether or hot spot I usually end up between 4-6 gigs a month. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  17. All I really want to know from this thread is why I have trouble going from a band 26 site to a band 41 when both bands have csfb but I still drop to 3G. I can be on band 26 and receive calls et the same with the band 41 I connect to but it seems when driving going from 26 to 41 it drops to 3G in some places even though csfb is enabled. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  18. I know your a moderator but let Robert respond insead. The title is everything 800 including LTE. You started by telling people to go to premier. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  19. Then change the title of the thread or maybe let Robert respond instead. No offense. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  20. In 4 days I used .92 gigs with Google play music streaming alone. Combined with the free Spotify promotion that Sprint is advertising my monthly usage will creep up to 6 gigs or so. It's very easy to get above 5 gigs if you have a long commute daily and use the above mentioned services with regular email and web browsing. Throttling would effect the very promotion Sprint is advertising with Spotify. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  21. Why if csfb is enabled would I drop to 3G when I go from a band 26 site to a band 41 connection? Do the sites have to match when handing off? Again csfb is enabled cause I can connect to these sites and make calls but the are bad channel handoffs on some sites. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  22. Band 26 seems to be on 80% of LTE accepted sites now. Csfb is on most of them now too. The only problem I'm having is when my connection drops to 3G when going from a band 26 site to a band 41 connection. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  23. Is it going to be based on the prior months usage or if you exceed 5 gig the current cycle? Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
  24. I just want to know what the throttled speed will be. 512, 1mb et. .. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
