Sprint LTE Coverage Maps via Sensorly

When mapping now it doesn't even map in solid lines now, just random circles along the road that's being mapped. -
My wife and I go to St Augustine allot and I wish that one tower near downtown was upgraded to 4G. Its been 3G NV accepted for a half of year.

The cow is not at USF anymore, but a brand new setup complete with new ruus on the tower near 42nd and Fletcher on the USF property. The tower is not broadcasting LTE yet. I guess this new tower is replacing the site on the demolished apartments.

I noticed looking at the map, some Turbo areas line up with former Clearwire sites. Although there are Spark areas that don't have Turbo. Turbo must have the enhanced backhaul in addition to Sprint Spark.

Thank you. Check out the Sprint coverage on Sprint.com. They have a Sprint Spark coverage overlay on the coverage map now for the Tampa area. They also added a "Turbo" overlay if you zoom in for some of the Spark area. Some Sprint Spark areas have Turbo, some don't. I posted a screenshot in the Sprint Spark thread.

Sprint Spark is on the Sprint coverage map now. Here is portions of Tampa. Its within the "turbo" area of coverage as indicated on the map. This will be very confusing to the uneducated consumer. LTE coverage, Spark coverage, Turbo coverage, Wimax coverage and 3G coverage... Also there area areas that are Sprint Spark areas that DON'T have Turbo coverage.

They were testing LTE at the intersection of Kennedy Avenue and Westshore tonight near Westshore Mall. Also they were testing tonight LTE on the Courtney Campbell near Ben T Davis Beach in Tampa.

I noticed that B41 works if you have B26 disabled according to the people here.

Can you change the LTE scan time? I know you can on the EVO LTE.

Maybe some of the LTE problems are because of the scan times. I know on my Evo LTE the scan time was high so I changed it. It might be a scanning for LTE every 15 minutes for example and that's why there maybe hand off problems. Can you change the LTE scan time on the Nexus?

I'm no expert at all but those numbers are way off. A -20 dBm difference is impossible unless he's on a different band or signal check is showing the 1xrtt strength in the LTE field.

Show your LTE engineering screen please. -20 dBm difference is crazy unless your previous phone had a bad radio.

Nobody yet has posted a screencap of the LTE engineering screen. Maybe the stronger signal on LTE is because their connected to B41 or something else.

Maybe since your signal improved from -100dbm to -78 you are connected to B41? Or maybe LTE 800? That's a huge jump.

Maybe if you're in the higher seats, the area has about -115 dBm average. I was able to browse the internet on 4G recently at an event across the street at the Yankees field.

Man, this forum got real quiet lately. I have very good news, the Brandon town center tower is up and running. I went ahead and mapped a little bit but that area has been extensively map before with weak signals so it's gonna take a couple of mapping runs to make it dark purple. Also, it looks like the tower on Dale Mabry and Gunn Highway is about to go live. Edit: A tower is live on Adamo and US 301 area in Brandon I noticed driving through.
