  1. The overlap is weird, I wonder if someone forgot to push a config change in that area. Here the lower Sprint B41 carrier was shut down about a month before T-Mobile n41 was widened to 80MHz. You'd think someone at T-Mobile would notice the noise and interference on their N41 carrier.
  2. Mike, I'm still getting this error on the newest beta. Change log indicates a fix was in the new beta. I sent a diagnostic report.
  3. Report sent. For what its worth I was able to reimport the current log with no issues. Every time I try to import it creates a backup of the current, so I tried one of those and it worked. But none of my older ones will successfully import. I don't usually switch things around on my phones very often so its been awhile since I've done this. This particular S9+ was used to map Sprint/T-Mobile data previously but since they finally killed my inactive Sprint SIM I'm going to keep it on Verizon full time (at least until they kill that SIM). I'm able to open the Verizon DB on my laptop and see the data so I don't think its corrupt.
  4. Yeah, I still haven't gotten the February update yet on my T-Mobile S20+.
  5. Mike, I'm getting this error when I try to restore any of my older logs to one of my phones. This particular one is my Verizon log last exported in 2019. Has the DB structure changed since then so that this can't be imported anymore? Is there anything in the DB I can manually change to get it to import? This has all of my Verizon site notes for my area so I really don't want to start back from scratch.
  6. It is, I didn't even think of that.
  7. Finally got the February update on my AT&T s20 Ultra. It's another big one, over 1.5GB.
  8. Here is the gateway: Here is my full setup, the gateway LAN port connects to the WAN port on my Ubiquiti UDM Pro under my switch.
  9. I'll grab some pictures when I get home, but I'll warn that it's a bit of a messy setup right now. I need to reorganize some stuff to make the gateway fit where I want it.
  10. My PC with the Gateway on B2 + N41. Testing from the gateway's wifi I'm getting well over 400, so seems like I'm losing a little between my gateway and UDM Pro. I'll do some more testing later as see what I can figure out.
  11. Update! I'm now connect to N41 for the secondary signal, getting speeds well over 300mbps now on my wifi. I actually had to up my 5GHz bandwidth on my APs to take advantage of it, lol. Keep in mind this is with the gateway in my basement no less.
  12. Both my phones stopped crashing after I turned off battery optimization for SCP. Haven't had an issue in a couple weeks now and my AT&T phone had been crashing multiple times a day before that. I don't think I ever came back and reported that.
  13. I haven't noticed any so far. Looks like they pushed an update out since I was last looking at the gateway on Monday night, I now have a status tab that shows more cellular detail, though that's about the only difference I've seen. Here are some side by side tests for comparison. Both B2 and N71 are 15x15. T-Mobile Gateway testing on my PC connected through my Ubiquiti network: T-Mobile Gateway testing using the gateway's WIFI network: Spectrum on my PC:
  14. So I finally received my gateway and got it setup last night. So far I've been very impressed with this thing. Speedwise I've been getting between 50-120 down and 50-70 up, which is insane coming from 5-10 upload with Spectrum. Obviously with cellular there's been plenty of fluctuations but none I would have noticed without running speed tests constantly and comparing them. Ping has typically been 40-90 ms to whatever server speed test app picks, which isn't all that much worse than my Spectrum service that averaged around 55 ms consistently. The device was super simple to setup, and is even wifi 6 capable if you're using it for your WiFi. In my case I have a Ubiquiti UDM Pro running my network with several switches and APs. There is no WAN port on the T-Mobile gateway so I have to use 1 of the LAN ports to connect to my UDM Pro. Even with the extra router hop I can't see much performance loss. If they add features to the gateway down the road and add bridge mode that should make it even better. The UI on the gateway is super simple and lacking a lot of advanced setting typically found on most home routers. About the only thing you can change are SSIDs for wifi and transmit power. I tried to turn the wifi off on the gateway since I don't need it but it keeps turning back on. I've also noticed I'm only getting N71 NSA by the signal strength reading, and not N41. So if it is allowed to use N41 in the future speeds should go way up for me. My phone sitting next to the gateway on B2 and N41 easily gets 300mbps consistently. There is no way to know what band you are connected to by the web UI, but using the T-Mobile home internet app it will tell you the primary band, but not the secondary. The gateway also has a built in battery, which would be handy for those that don't have their networking equipment on a UPS. If anyone has anything in particular they'd like to know or for me to test please let me know. I'll probably post more in the coming days, including taking it outside and using the built-in wifi to test speed with it outdoors and clear LOS to the tower.
  15. Well, I still haven't received my package. UPS is apparently having trouble recovering from the one day shutdown. This literally just came from across town and it has yet to make it to my house. Its been out for delivery 3 days in a row and still hasn't made it to my house. I also have a Ubiquiti package stuck in the system too, though something I just bought from Newegg Wednesday showed up today from UPS which makes me think they are operating in a last in first out mode.
  16. I wonder how willing AT&T and Verizon will be to take G block in PCS? Here thats the only orphaned PCS T-Mobile has. I wish B(N)25 had caught on like B66 had to replace B4. I've not seen other carriers using B25 as priority over B2. AT&T broadcast their primary B2 carrier as B25 here but no CA with it. I only see it when I force my phone to B25 and I'm assuming it's there for other carriers to roam on. Down the road I'd love to see AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile do similar swaps in AWS as well, all 3 are a fragmented mess here.
  17. Looks like the equipment shipped out yesterday. Its just coming from across town so it might come today, but UPS is very delayed right now from this winter storm. They shut down Worldport last night for the first time I think since 9/11.
  18. And on the flip side, T-Mobile has upgraded their site in Mt Washington KY and now the Sprint site in town is no longer broadcasting the 312-250 PMLN. That was the first 312-250 site I found several months ago.
  19. I signed up for this today to try it out, I'm getting tired of Spectrum constantly going out for hours at a time. My home tower is fully upgraded with n41 and n71 so hopefully performance is pretty good. The equipment is currently backorder for 3-4 weeks as of today.
  20. I know for here in KY they have a lot of work to do to get on the same level as AT&T and Verizon. But T-Mobile did have better native rural coverage here than Sprint, Sprint just roamed on Bluegrass Cellular.
  21. Does anyone know if T-Mobile is able to remotely reconfigure EDGE and HSPA or does that require a site visit to each cell site? EDGE and HSPA will have to be moved here before T-Mobile can expand their B2 carrier. I wasn't sure if the older technology was able to be changed remotely like LTE and NR or not.
  22. I glad you pointed out the power settings, I know I had mine off before for both SCP and Cellmapper but I just double checked and both were set to on. I've been having constant crashing with SCP since my last Android update so we'll see if changing that helps.
  23. Sprint's secondary B25 carrier trimmed from 10x10 to 5x5 today in Louisville. No change to T-Mobile's B2 here yet, but I expect it to go from 10x10 to 15x15 or maybe even 20x20. Combined they own contiguous 30x30 here plus G block now.
