  1. I'm hoping so, I've found several 312250 sites around here but some that I would have thought would be kept haven't been broadcasting it. Ill keep checking those sites.
  2. I know there's at least 3 in Lexington, New Circle and Newtown Pike, New Circle and Nicholasville rd, and Man o War and Harrodsburg rd. Likely more than that but those are the ones I noticed in my brief trip through there earlier this week.
  3. And today I noticed this tower is now getting 2500 M-MIMO added. I can't tell if they are removing that crooked antenna or just relocating but all 3 sectors are sitting like that, that's what caught my eye as I was driving by. They are deploying in clusters here, wherever you find one of these there's likely more nearby. Here is a quick look at sites I've found so far in south Louisville with 2500 M-MIMO installed. There's another cluster in the northeast part of Louisville, and I found a couple of these over in southern Indiana this week as well. At least 2 of these got both 600 and 2500 gear on this install, the rest already had the 600 MHz equipment. So far except for the initial site they did over in New Albany several months ago I haven't seen them not add 600 if it wasn't already there.
  4. Not too shabby now that they are aggregating the two B41 carriers. This will definitely benefit older non 5G phones as this gets more wide spread. The network pushed me to B41 for the first time today also, usually I have to force my phone to connect to T-Mobile B41.
  5. Tapatalk updated on my phones today finally but still no S4GRU on there.
  6. Adding Screenshot of B41 CA on T-Mobile. Also, I hope they don't start changing GCIs here like @Trip is reporting in his area. Here only B41 LTE is on a seperate GCI, and all B41 shares the same instead of being different eNB Id for each sector on the same site. Sprint had 5 GCIs on sites around here and I'm pretty happy to be getting away from that.
  7. Yes, and I also noticed CA is active on Sprint B41 on my T-Mobile phone tonight for the first time. It also seems my home Sprint site has gotten a backhaul upgrade under T-Mobile, which is interesting since its got an actual T-Mobile site co-located on the same water tower with it so its definitely not a keep site. Sprint used to top out at about 120 mbps even at 3am in front of the tower, now in my house I'm hitting 280+.
  8. Sometime in the past week or so T-Mobile has fired up a 2nd B41 LTE carrier. They are now using 40MHz for LTE and 60 MHz for NR here. Plus I believe the 3 Sprint B41 carriers are still up and my MB gold in my office is still on a unique channel.
  9. For reference i never see the 311-490 in SCP either, it shows either 310-120 or 310-260 depending on the network. Not sure if SCP is translating that in the background or if the phone is passing it through to SCP like that. I'm pretty sure CellMapper does the same thing.
  10. On my T-Mobile S20+ SCP doesn't indicate the PLMN is different. It still shows 310120 with no **. I can't post a screenshot until I get home later tonight since tapatalk is down, but I've got shots of split screen with SCP showing 310-120 and the service mode screen showing 312-250. I haven’t pulled my log yet but if these are being logged as 312-250 that'll be great for tracking. On another note, the provider color bar has been extremely helpful on this trip to see at a glace which network I'm on.
  11. I'm starting to see the 312-250 PLMN around KY. they seem to have set these to accept handoffs from 310-260 like native coverage, I didnt have to completely lose T-Mobile signal to handoff to it or from it to get back to T-Mobile on the next adjacent site.
  12. If they trade it'll be AT&T most likely since they own the B block and Bluegrass has C block.
  13. That'll be interesting to watch. I don't think they own much of their own spectrum, they do have 5x5 B12 and 5x5 B2 in my area. Bluegrass is a huge part of the Verizon network in KY via Verizon's LTEiRA program.
  14. Has anyone seen any of the former Sprint stores close down? Around here it seems that every single Sprint store was kept open and converted to T-Mobile no matter how close it was to an existing T-Mobile store. I've recently noticed several of the converted stores have gotten new permanent signage replacing the temporary banner signs from Day 1 conversion.
  15. For VoLTE to work on AT&T the device almost has to be an AT&T branded version for it to be whitelisted. For some reason they don't allow factory unlocked or other provider unlocked phones to use VoLTE and some other network features. I dont know what their reasoning is for that.
  16. I wonder if T-Mobile will continue to offer the CellSpot? We have both a MB and CellSpot in our office building, its the only way we get any signal. For some reason our building's exterior walls are 10-12 inches of concrete and rebar (I found out the hard way when we installed some new outdoor cameras recently).
  17. I finally got some decent pictures of the new style equipment shelter AT&T is using. They're been using this around here for the last couple of years on new sites. For reference here is what the older shacks looked like. Theres a ton of these out there, Verizon and Nextel also used shacks similar to these. Here's the new shack:
  18. Here's a before and after look at a recently upgraded T-Mobile site here. I'm not sure what the difference in the ground equipment is, but all of the upgraded sites around here are getting new ground equipment as well as adding antennas. Most of my area has already been completed with adding N71, so hopefully this makes the N41 overlay go much faster. I've also noticed sites with 2 eNB IDs are getting consolidated to a single eNB ID for LTE on 2/4(66)/12/71 even on 4, 5, and 6 sector sites with the upgrades. Before: After:
  19. Went from absolutely no service to this now in Milan Indiana. Its about the only place I travel to for my job that had no service at all with AT&T. Glad to see expansion is still full steam ahead. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk
  20. Interesting, it works on my T-Mobile Samsung devices (S20 and Tab S6) and on my AT&T S20 Ultra, though on the AT&T phone I have to reboot with the SIM out to get into that menu. With the SIM in it just says this: Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk
  21. Yoy can just hit the home button to get back out.
  22. Yes, if it works it will open up as soon as you type the last #. *#0011# is the other code i use all the time.
  23. If it works on your phone the easiest way to tell is to go into *#2263# and tap on NR5G band preference, then see if NR B71 SA is listed as an option. If you only have NSA then SA hasn't been enabled on your phone. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
  24. Since that phone just launched it might have SA support out of the box.
  25. No issues with B2 here. Not sure if its 4x4 or 2x2 MIMO as my home site hasn't been modernized yet, its still 2,4,12 only for now. Sent from my SM-G986U using Tapatalk
