  1. Too bad, A win/win proposal for both companies shot down by politics and engineering. Report: Sprint planning to dump Lightsquared as early as next week http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/07/sprint-dumping-lightsquared/#comments
  2. Sprint is wierd in that respect. They always keep their phones for sale on the high end until it's close to EOL while everyone else is pricing them to move. . I remember the Pre was still going between $150-199 on Sprint.com when it was getting close to being a year old.
  3. Yes, I will be surprised if this only comes with a dual-core, while their talking about putting a quad-core in the iPhone this fall.
  4. I think the One series will have a permanent battery. Although it allows a more powerful battery and design enhancement, I'm still not sold on the lack of a battery pull to do a soft reset when Android gets buggy. It does seem to be the new low profile trend from the oEM's
  5. Here's an article detailing HTC's new line-up and what it did to reconfigure Sense. A good article. I hope HTC has found its way again. http://www.theverge.com/2012/3/6/2849231/htc-sense-4-one-x-drew-bamford
  6. I don't think a true iFan doesn't need that much of an excuse. I'm sure the Barista is in line now.
  7. Here, here for the GNex+. If it keeps the same specs as Verizon, I may be tempted to see what the GSlll is all about if it has a reasonable launch date. Otherwise, I think the GNex especially the Plus will satisfy me for a while.
  8. I'm sure he sneaks into work early before his staff gets in and uses info from the site to ask follow up questions during NV meetings. Robert should get an off-site contractors fee.
  9. Sprint does have a decent win average so far. Let's see it it continues.
  10. Gotta think resale value when you finally replace it! As the homies and OG's get into smart phones, it's always good to have a throw down it case the original gets damaged in a fight, robbery or drive by.

    iPad 3 or HD

The new iPad will be released tomorrow and it should have some interesting specs. What I'm most curious about is what sort of LTE connectivity will it have? With the iPhone coming out later this year, what the iPad has will sure to be included with the iPhone. Quote Phone Arena said: "Where things start getting interesting is with the connectivity. According to the sources for The Verge, we could see three different versions of the tablet introduced tomorrow. Verizon and AT&T will each get their own LTE model, the first mobile devices from the manufacturer to offer LTE support, and there will be a 3G variant with both a CDMA and HSPA radio similar to what is in the Apple iPhone 4S. Although LTE chips from Qualcomm can also run on 3G bands, Apple might have had a financial reason to separate these models." http://www.phonearena.com/news/Read-all-about-it-Apple-iPad-HD-to-have-more-RAM-separate-LTE-versions-will-launch-March-16th_id27728
  12. I hope it was a lemon. Everyone I know who has the RAZR & MAXX have been happy with it. She probably got the one dud.
  13. It's supposedly going to resemble the 2.0 version. If I remember correctly, it had a decent amount of options for customization but didn't go over the top. If this is the case, it should run well on today's devices.
  14. All the carriers could do better at this. Sprint is doing well so far, but its because they can't afford to do anything else at the moment. NV and the iPhone costs have taken a lot of flexibility out of any strategic movement Sprint could do with spectrum. But your correct. both AT&T and Verizon are only doing it at this point because they can & can afford to.
  15. Already booked marked and I enter every a.m. once the ol computer boots up.
