  1. I wonder if it also offers protection like ZAGG or some of the others? I couldn't find anything at first blush and the site is kinda lacking on in-depth information, but if it did offer some scratch protection that would help me in justifying the price.
  2. Well both the coasts are covered along with the south and small parts of the midwest. Now to get something going with the mountain and SW states, preferably CO first!
  3. The same route T-Mobile's taking to get to LTE
  4. I think its currently at the 22 month mark when you upgrade from your current contract period or use your last premier upgrade then your reset to 20 months from there on. EX. I'm out of contract now and was at 22 months. When I get around to upgrading I'll be able to upgrade at 20 months.
  5. You may be right. This article says that the GSlll (quoted by Samsung) won't be out "at least until summer". These GSlll rumors are starting to get as bad as iPhone tales. Maybe well get some clarification next week. http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-isisnt-coming-part-vii
  6. It's interesting that Google thinks that Amazon is the enemy and not Apple. I agree, a 10" Google tablet moderately cheaper than the iPad, I would be first in line, although a 7" is making me at least curious.
  7. According to this rumor, the Google tablet may indeed be made by Asus. If true, this will certainly put their name on the map. $199, quad-core Tegra 3 and of course, ICS. http://androidandme.com/2012/03/opinions/rumor-googles-199-nexus-tablet-to-be-made-by-asus-include-quad-core-tegra-3/
  8. It will be interesting to see how AT&T handles this. I'm sure they will use the velvet glove approach until they get close to their imposed deadline. 3-4 years from now when the carriers start to transition to VoLTE so they can refarm their spectrum, you'll see the same thing happen again and again.
  9. Looks like the FCC has shot down DISH's attempt for a network just as it did to LS2. I'm sure AT&T is at DISH's office right now with its checkbook in hand to help ease their pain. FCC denies Dish Network's waiver request for new LTE network http://www.theverge.com/2012/3/3/2840587/fcc-denies-dish-network-waiver-request-new-lte-network
  10. i'm beginning to wonder about that. ICS came out in November. Here we are in March and a stock update for CDMA phones has yet to materialize. I don't even think the update for the GSM Nexus S has resumed yet. This is kind of taking the glow off of having a Nexus product, especially with Googles statements about not supporting CDMA phones any longer. If that's the case, we my not be able to delight in the Google experience of getting timely updates until VoLTE rolls around and everyone is on the same sheet of music.
  11. Just from what I've gleaned from the articles, the initial launch as always will start in Europe. The good thing is if this does come with an LTE ready quad-core, it will launched at least 4-6 months before most had expected. Of course with the Euros getting it first, we can at least expect a summer or early fall release. Here's to hoping.
  12. We should be hearing something as soon as a willing employee in whichever factory Google chooses makes the inevitable leak when an analyst bribes them for info. Hopefully Google won't pick a Foxconn subsidiary and start the whole slave labor issue again. Apple is still smarting over that.
