  1. I wonder why Google is backtracking on microSD slots. I heard a rumor that the Nexus 6X is a product of the failed Android Silver project.

Or maybe Google realizes that having a microSD card slot is what made Android phones a preferred choice over iPhones.

I have thought that when Google changed how SD cards functioned with JB (or was it KK?) that they were laying the groundwork to bring them back to stock Android.

  3. Sprint is definitely listening on social media, especially twitter. Tweeting them about a local tower issue caused them call me up on the phone and request more information.

Their G+ team is a joke. They post stuff and then vanish. Most of the posts are filled with troll comments. Legitimate questions go unanswered. Heck, T-Mobile uses Sprint posts to recruit Sprint customers who don't get support from Sprint.

  4. I really like your idea. I had not thought of that. I might just do what you suggested. I think Sprint now gives 30 days to return the phone and cancel your service rather than the 14 days that all the other carriers give.

I may be wrong, but I think the 30 day trial ended. I think it is back to 14 days.

  5. You've seriously considered packin' up and moving because the tower closest to your house still looks like this: NoNV.png

    :o

I had a job interview a while back that would have lead to moving. The site spacing of the possible future location was part of the equation to not pursue the position further.

  6. Hi, anyone familiar with hagerstown,in coverage? the sprint coverage map shows a pocket of offnet roaming around that area, I wondered how accurate that is.

I have relatives in that area I was going to try to convince to switch until I checked the coverage map.

    thanks for any input.

I haven't personally visited that area in a while, but all signs point to not great coverage there.

    LG G3

Now that SMS over LTE is ubiquitous I don't have that complaint much anymore, texts send/receive very fast now!

I thought they fixed the bug as all I have to do anymore is switch off imessage In the iphone before deactivating it and then making sure to uncheck my phone number from the "you can be reached at" options in my other iOS devices and it reverts back to SMS for other iOS users right away. I had many problems with this 2 years ago though...

The bigger problem is people that no longer have the idevice to switch it off from.
