  1. Oh yeah and FWIW, the Samsung guy said that the blue and green would be coming to Best Buy in June. He was quite confident of this. Not sure if anyone can verify that.

Best Buy has carried "exclusive" blue models of the S5, S4, M7, and G3 in the past. I would be surprised if they DIDN'T carry the blue one. As far as the green, who knows.
  2. Good point. Though, where the E8 was positioned downmarket from the M8, the E9 appears to be positioned above the M9. Very curious, indeed.

The E8 was spec for spec close to the M8. M8 minus the metal build and IR. Otherwise same specs. Same screen, same processor.
  3. Quick question if anyone can help. Can you upgrade on a 2 year contract at an Apple store if you're on Framily? I know that you can't do easy pay there, but can you sign a 2 year contract at the Apple store? Thanks!

You can sign a two year contract at the Apple Store.

If you sign a 2 year contract on a discounted device you will be charged a $15 fee on that line.

  4. I certainly hope they don't make the display smaller. The current size is PERFECT, IMHO. The G3 is a joy to hold and use, especially compared to my beastly iPhone 6+. The G3 is my daily driver because of this and I have fairly large hands.

When did you go back to the G3?

  5. nice! thats the thing with benchmarks vs real world usage, you aren't going to be running benchmarks all the time so if there are issues with overheating and throttling during benchmarks that doesn't mean there will be issues with your general day to day usage.

does it have 3gig RAM on it? or is it just 2?

    thanks!

I would not take my limited amount of time with the phone as "proof" that it doesn't overheat. I used it for a total of about 4 hours.

  6. When doing a fresh sync of all my stuff on initial setup the device got warm, but no warmer than any of my other devices. There was definitely random sluggishness. I couldn't really get it to be sluggish on demand. 98% of the time it was snappy as heck.

  7. Nice, but question, Is that the one for the U.S. (red colored Sprint version) or the the overseas version that the media is putting out left and right in reviews today?

    TS

    EDIT :

Sorry, I read that wrong. It looks like most reviews (that I have seen) are the Korean version.

  8. Thanks! That red color was really a stupendous choice by Sprint it pops in the pictures. Is it just as good in person?

    Yes.

When it comes to phones with "different" colors, I am not sure if they look good because of the color, or if they look good just because they are different.
