  1. Wow, I have a daughter and thought crap I hope she doesn't find out about this hotline.
  2. I buy at full amount if I need a phone more than once a year otherwise I use the line I got for my mother to use as an emergency phone alternated with my line. By selling my phones when I am done I have not paid anything for my phones for the last 5 years or so (ATT 8125 was last phone that actually cost me money)
  3. I'm hoping it moves to covering AT&T's multiple attempts to leave bankruptcy after Sprint takes over the world.
  4. and this would strip a significant amount of value from Clearwire essentially making them worthless screwing creditors and Sprint. Not going to happen. This proposal to make an offer (not even an offer) is going nowhere it appears that its sole purpose is to cause Sprint a headache and its going to backfire if they want Sprint to host their spectrum because at this point I think Dish needs Sprint more than Sprint needs 4 separate bands for LTE. if it is BRS, Dish is serious, and Sprint goes along and sells than Dish just got the good part of Clearwire for 7 Billion and the creditors are suing, this leaves 5-7 Billion in debt with only leased spectrum to back it up.
  5. Also to update my debt numbers at the end of 3rd quarter liabilities (including spectrum lease) was at 7.1 Billion.
  6. Correct, but Dish is not proposing to acquire all of Clearwire just 25-49% and in the process get a significant amount of spectrum for themselves (Individual Ownership).
  7. I would give them the whole company for that AWS spectrum. Bad deal for Dish though. Remember the Debt that Clearwire has everyone is ignoring the Debt. A transfer of spectrum could be viewed as defrauding creditors in the inevitable bankruptcy should Clearwire remain a separate entity. The wholesale model has failed, its one thing for a company like Sprint to sell excess capacity its an entirely different story doing an entire network buildout for 15 bucks a user
  8. Looks like Clearwire shareholders are getting a little to excited. Up to 3.18 after hours. This deal as its written is NOT going to happen it needs Sprints approval.
  9. I do not understand why DISH would want to actually buy Clearwire and this offer despite a higher share price is way less than Sprints offer. Sprint would be taking on Clearwire debt in the transaction Dish is not. What all these people screaming about the undervaluing are not seeing is the 7+ Billion in Debt Sprint is taking on in the deal. The Sprint deal places a value on Clearwire of 10-11 Billion, Its customers and network are worthless (Most all are wholesale Sprint with 15 monthly ARPU). And all of this is not counting any spectrum lease liabilities because I just don't know what they are at this point but I have heard numbers cited as high as 5.5 Billion just selling spectrum looks like it would require approval by Sprint (not going to happen). Dish is just being a pain in the rear end
  10. "Interim funding allows Clearwire to continue LTE build-out and complement Sprint’s LTE deployment" http://finance.yahoo.com/news/sprint-acquire-100-percent-ownership-120000742.html
  11. My understanding of this deal is that 800 million in financing was provided by Sprint to Clearwire specifically to pay for rollout of TD-LTE up until expected merger close date. Not doing the rollout would likely be a breach of fiduciary duty to Clearwire shareholders should the merger fall through for some reason. Even though it is extremely likely in my opinion that the merger will be approved Sprint/SoftBank could have cold feet, shareholders may not approve, or another suitor could step up to the plate.
  12. Forgot about 800 LTE, holding onto my EVO LTE until at least 800 is supported.
  13. EVO LTE 2? Don't like not having removable storage
  14. +1 I have had no problems with this buying from Amazon it's been about a year however make sure you read Amazon's terms and conditions carefully to check that its not prohibited.
  15. I had the understanding that only a network card needed to be added to enable 800LTE
