I used to always buy at the corporate store. The I bought from sprints online store which ended up being a total disaster. I bought my OG EVO and the wifes Epic 4g from Radio Shack. My EVO LTE and the wifes EVO 3D were bought from Best Buy and thats probably who we will stick wife for the foreseeable future.

Sprint posts on its covergae maps "This tool provides high-level estimates of our wireless coverage. Coverage is not available everywhere and varies based on a number of factors." That about covers any laibility or charges of being less than truthful. -
Leap has terrible 2nd Quarter. Won't make payment due to Sprint.

I agree. I don't have a problem absorbing their customers but the amount of debt is pretty significant. MVNO is the way to go and if leap goes down the tubes at least Sprint still has the spectrum. -

I don't see it as being a bad thing. It would be interesting to see if Sprint users take network precedence over MVNO's.

Don't we have terrestrial GPS sites that augment the satellite signals? How are those used?

UGGGH. WIFI systems are so complex. Anything you do can change your connectivity with a wifi system. It could be as simple as the update making your phone not play nice with the router anymore. Try going into your wifi settings on your phone and make it "forget" the connection(usually a long press) and start the connection from scratch. If that does not work then you may want to check with the router manufacturer to see if there are any known issues with your device.

Sprints fundamentals absolutely suck! If you were playing by the book then you should stay away. Having said that, some of my best buys on the market have been companies with screwy financials but a good plan and/or product. Sprint has recently rejoined my portfolio.

This is the same logic that caused folks to be so negative of the EVO 3D because they figured that they would never use the 3D function. This is faulty logic. You need to look at all the features of the phone, the cost and then compare it to other phones that you may buy and then choose the one that fits your needs. Also by your logic there is not a LTE Sprint phone that would be worth it for you. So either you are going with a non-LTE phone or changing carriers. -
I can't see my self doing that. It would force me to carry two devices where ever I go.

I'm glad you bought that up. I think the bigger issue is through mergers and aquisitions ATT(Cingular merger) and Verizon(MCI aquisition) became tier 1 internet providors. In the case of Verizon it has seemed that they have become more aggresive in their policies and positions since then.

I think the Hesse themed commercials served their purpose even if Sprint stuck with them a wee bit too long. I like the new commercials for their amusement factor but I still don't think they are very effective. I actually like the AT&T commercials better than anybody else s. Especially the speed dating commercial.

Verizon is like the Jesus network, they can do no wrong! I have gotten this feeling over the last 2-3 years that there is a very large group of people who are dedicated to seeing sprint fail and some of those people are so called journalist. Sprint seems to be extra sensitive to this and they should be at this point.

I'm really resisting the temptation to buy this tab. At first I was a little underwhelmed with the specs but then I saw the price! The only reason I am holding out is because I have to get a new laptop for school first.

I was just thinking about this yesterday and I have a different conclusion. Fifteen cities with approx 40% coverage is a drop in the bucket. You already have un-informed folks complaining that they do not have an LTE signal in a particular launch city. I would wait until I could at least double my current market presence(from 15 to 30) and bring all active LTE markets up to at least 50-60% before I would make a big deal about LTE. I would also try to include bmore an chi town into that expansion to soften the negative boos from NYC and LA.

Yes it is. If I'm on a wifi network or on voice roaming, mobile data shuts off and will not turn back on until I am off of wifi, have a data signal and try to access mobile data. Sometimes I have to manually turn it on.EDIT: I think there is a time limit on it and is a battery saving measure.

So now that LTE is live, lets see if all those websites that dinged the EVO4GLTE for not having LTE go back and revise their reviews!
