  1. Actually, the more I think about it you might be right. Just about the entire Raleigh Durham markets ILEC is Centurylink EXCEPT for Raleigh and Durham.
  2. I think Raleigh is mostly AT&T with a little bit of Centurylink.
  3. Grrrr. Looks as as if Raleigh Durham is falling behind.
  4. Flash suppourt is already fragile with ICS so i really have to issues with upgrading to jellybean.
  5. I'm no lover of Samsung but I believe the verdict was flawed. From what we were privy to, Apple had a very circumspect case IMO. In addition, recent comments from members of the jury have placed their own judgment in to question. I really believe that there is a strong chance that the verdict will be overturned.
  6. Clevland school road between 50 and 42? i have travelled that route a lot and never dropped a call. I think there is a tower near Sauls road in Garner. i would download a tower locating program like coverage map and check to see what tower you are hitting. You maybe hitting a tower thats to far away or bouncing off of multiple towers.
  7. Mine started doing it overnight and it wont respond to a soft reset.
  8. Looks like you can get rid of the three bullets. Goto settings, display, recent app button and change to press for menu, press and hold for recent apps.
  9. I know, I know. I just want my Jelly bean and LTE before User/City X!
  10. Anything less than jelly bean is a let down.
  11. I second that. I frequent Wake and Johnston counties and occasionally Durham and Orange and I don't have that issue either.
  12. Make sure your phone prl is up to date. I have not seen to many drop call issues in the raleigh area.
  13. I have a few good spots in Raleigh but they are almost always dependent on traffic. In other words they are pretty fast at night and sometimes not usable during the day.
  14. I was in Quantico recently and had eHRPD. No LTE though.
  15. Darn. I guess I should just sit tight and see iv NV kills one or two of those towers.
  16. Glad to see T-Mobile bringing unlimited data back but I don't think they are gunning just for Sprint. The market is saturated so any customers you gain were stolen from somebody else. Its every man for himself now.
  17. Hmmm. This might help me as I am still bouncing off of three towers at the house.
  18. To me its just easier to plug a usb backup in and keep moving. But to each his own. Besides, I don't have a choice Its bigger than it looks! The GPS was for Foursquare before I realized Foursquare works acceptably well without GPS.
  19. Strange. I have frequented both areas and have not had any issues sending or receiving calls or text. Now data is another issue.
  20. I see comments like this all over the place and it kind of bothers me. IMHO there is no reason, except for the power user who keeps over three batteries, to be concerned about not being able to swap out batteries. There are to many alternatives out there now that cost less than a factory battery. They can also be as small as a carabiner. Personally I bought myself a 2500ma solar charger. I have only had to use it once and that was while I was vacationing at Disney with the gps on all day. Not picking on you. Just kinda throwing it out there.
  21. I agree with Mr. Gumdrop Belly Buttons. The same type of user who could not tell you what version of android they are running is the same type that does not even know what bloatware is. I think we tend to assume that most people are knowledgeable when the reality is most are not.
