  1. This was HTC's responsibility as the builder and shipper of the phone. Sprint has to go by what HTC has told them and it is obvious at this point that HTC thought they had given customs enough lead time to confirm that there was no patent infringement. Could Sprint have been more communicative? Yes, I agree with you there. But they did release information on the delay. Worse comes to worse you can refuse the shipment, get your money back, cancel your account and get the One X at AT&T if you feel that strongly that this was Sprints fault.
  2. Waiting to see if Apple is going to pull the old "Classic Coke New Coke" gambit where they upgrade the 4S but keep the same size screen and make the iPhone 5 with a bigger screen.
  3. I thought spinning off embarq was a condition of the sprint nextel merger.
  4. Nope. Buying a large stake does not constitute running the company. That would be a majority stake.
  5. I dont think either company wants to get their "hands dirty" running a wireless network. Buying a large stake in a company like Sprint is more likely especially for Google. I have to think that Sprints status as a tier one internet provider has to be attractive to Google.
  6. Not surprising since they did not do it at the unveil in NYC.
  7. Thats the one that they reported to me two weeks ago. It also does not explain the other dropped calls.
  8. For the last three weeks I have been getting quite a few dropped calls. Sprint has only admitted to a small "outage" even though my drops have occured in multiple places. Any body else experience this?
  9. Hmmm. I wonder when/if the One S is coming to Sprint.
  10. I have been wondering to myself if the new EVO will be the last top of the line phone for $199. I was easily expecting the EVO to go for $250(like the Epic 4G). It will be interesting to see how much Sprint charges for the Galaxy3,iPhone5 and the next variant of the Photon.
  11. Best Buy updated me with a May 18 availability date.
  12. I think the FCC would still force some concessions, most likely with the U-Verse service. Either way I think AT&T taking over dish is a long shot.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Sprint To redeem your offer, take this email to Sprint and show it to the staff. Print the email out, or just show it from your phone. Trade in your eligible phone and add a line by 5/17 to get an extra $50 credit. Expires May 17, 2012

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

What makes it a little more curious is that Sprint has a buy back program that expires on May17 iirc.
  15. After June 10 wimax will fly!

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

If we are talking about the same video it appeared to me like they showed the progression of the EVO line. Evo 4g, Evo 3d and now the Evo 4g LTE.
  17. I use open signal maps. Does anybody know what program they use for their speed tests?

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Absolutely right. But I was alluding more to what AJ stated.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

You sure it would be slower than Verizon currently?

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Thats just the thing though. There would be no negative press. You use the phone, put it down and leave. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the LTE radio is still undergoing fcc clearance or if there is another version of the radio undergoing fcc clearance.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

That may be true. I still find it interesting since we all know they will play up the LTE at launch.
