How much space is available for use on the 16GB iPhone? I'm thinking of buying one for my dad, but not sure if its sufficient. He could easily get away with using a 16GB nexus 5 which has about 12.5 available after partitioning for the OS.

Went on a Chick Fil A run primarily to see Spark in action, but when I got a b41 connection (full signal), I couldn't use the Internet at all. that was a bit disappointing.

 

Also.. is this battery great or what?!

Charged from 0% to 100% in 3 hours and 33 minutes.

Now to see how long this baby lasts.

got my 6+ a couple of hours ago, currently trying to kill the battery so I can charge it up to 100% overnight. proving to be harder than expected.

I haven't left the house with it, so I haven't experienced b41 yet..hopefully that'll happen tomorrow.

On another note, I have to say, the slow motion is honestly great. Wow.

Mine has arrived at the UPS shipping center within walking distance of my house! If only I could pick it up a bit early...

this is how it should be. It says on the website that they will not be combined into one shipment IIRC.

I ordered a Spigen case this morning via Amazon prime. They're there...

They're back now... not sure if I'm crazy or not.

 

I had to order a 128GB model if I wanted one on Friday. I'm not using all of my current 64GB iPhone 5S, so I have no idea how I'll fill a phone with 128GB of stuff.

 

It took me a few seconds to figure out what your avatar was. Then it hit me that I'm a really bad Ravens fan. Lol

I manage space well on my 16GB, I consistently have 3 or 4 gigs free. I also would rather not spend an extra $100 on storage that costs apple $10 but that's just me.

 

And man I need to change that avatar, it's getting pretty old.

Rumors from 1-2 weeks ago, was that the plus would be delayed the first two months :-(

Those have already been invalidated, people from all carriers (including sprint) have gotten shipment emails for the 64 and 128GB 6+ models.

Just not the 16GB model...which just doesn't make sense bc that's definitely the configuration that sold the most!

I still haven't been able to find a single person that received a tracking number for a 16GB 6+! Surely they have to be shipping at least a limited amount...

 

 

Apparently, you can track on ups.com using only your phone number. Some iPhone pre-order'ers are reporting this method to give you more information than Apple's website.

A better way with UPS is to sign up for MyChoice so you can see any shipment addressed to your house

Just got shipping confirmation email with UPS tracking number for my preorder from Sprint.....now to wait until Friday.

i think my chances of getting my phone on the day of the release are pretty high. rep told me that not many 64gb models had been pre-ordered and even fewer that were gold. i'm excited, i supposedly live in a spark market

I ordered a gold 16GB 6+. Seems like apple expected the demand for the gold version and produced a lot more than last year.

I just called and they said zilch. Ordered my Monday night (last night)

 

She was very nice - but stated none arrived and my order is set for 6 weeks minimum

 

So hopefully your person had better details - ha.

I opened the chat from the order status page, just in case you went to a different department. Also just might've been the order time.

I just chatted with order support and the guy told me that my order "just completed processing". asked if there's any chance that I'll receive it on Friday and he said "I can't confirm because I don't have a tracking number yet, but I wouldn't rule that out".

Ordered the iPhone 6 Plus 128 Gb Gold model for my wife and hoping it ships on release day or soon after.. I'm thinking maybe the 128 Gb model will be more readily available ..

But you have to keep in mind that they also make less 128gb models
