Well my iPhone is jailbroken now. Tried to flash 56006, bootlooped my phone. Damnit. I'm gonna have to restore now.

 

Did you verify it's the same site via Site ID? Now your download looks really slow.

Didn't think of that. I didn't move much. I could still see the site. It was a rooftop.

I was in a fire lane though, so I was kind of rushed.

Another thought. Can you verify if all sectors on this same site are suffering from reduced download? That would help identify capacity or backhaul.

It was capacity. Got this from the same site.

In Baltimore City now. Looks like we have some capacity issues.

Coverage is great around here though. Consistently around 3-5 bars.

And.. LTE is now live in Western AA County! Turned off Wifi this morning and then the 4F icon came up. So I quickly did a Speed test! I wonder when they turned my local tower on to it? Ether way still pleased with this!

 

Btw, not the fastest connection but hey.

I have a signal here at the Glen Burnie MVA. Weak though. -114dBm.

I don't care about Siri movie tickets. I'm more interested in the immintent jailbreak. But I can't update anyway- no Internet at home currently.

I think it's load balancing. It only happens on non-upgraded sites, or high-usage sites.

Now to revive this thread.

 

Ended up getting an LTE signal, plus a Speed test at the Annapolis Plaza shopping center parking lot at Trader Joes.

I was waiting for someone to revive it. I currently have a full bar LTE signal in Owings Mills- that's new.

Now to revive this thread.

Definitely a problem. Still not fixed, even in 6.1.

 

Finally got LTE at my home. However, you could easily get to this speed if you could max out EVDO rev. A. I guess a Verizon 3G could easily match that speed.

Then I'm guessing you've never used Verizon 3G.

Snapped a quick pic of a Sprint COW at the National Mall this afternoon.

Was it up? And is it LTE? That would be nice. Especially for testing LTE under pressure.

I believe the Sprint iPhone 5 is compatible with Verizon's LTE network. There is 1 CDMA model, and 2 GSM models. The CDMA model is for Sprint and Verizon in the US, and they support the same bands (700 and 1900 are the ones we care about). So, if Verizon allows LTE roaming us iPhone 5 users will be able to take advantage of it. Unless there's something I'm missing.

It's getting quite entertaining.

LTE on 14th and W. -89dbm signal. Some nice speeds too.

Edit: Full bars LTE signal in Silver Spring at Georgia and Colesville. Having some fun in DC today. Visited ICE! 2012 at the Gaylord today. It was really really cold. Like below freezing cold. I was all bundled up, 3 layers.

 

 

I have plugged in the Voyager via USB and didn't get any higher speeds than on WiFi. Then again, maybe the Mac drivers are poorer than the Windows one?

I was actually using a Samsung Ultrabook. It wasn't mine, but the hotspot was.

Mine worked SIMless from the day I got it. That was one of the first things I tried to do. It says No SIM, but works fine.
