  1. It's true too early for sprint. But if the usc problem gets more pub maybe sprint will take note anyway. The usc thing is not too early because they pulled them from shelves. It's speculation but does deserve some attention.

  2. I just don't get the 2600 thing. Why would ppl push so hard for a band that doesn't travel as far or have good penetration. I understand using it to offload user from other bands to free up congestion. 800 should be priority to me.

The indoor small cells are supposed to fill in the band 41 gaps in coverage. Having and indoor 800 site would kinda be redundant. would you want it penetrate walls to go back outside where there should already be coverage?

This will be something to keep watch on. Apparently the S3 is causing problems at least enough on US Cellular for them to offer replacements for some S3 owners. Some speculate it could be the source of the problem in the Sprint Chicago market (which apparently is pretty bad right now all over)

    Interesting. Why just Chicago?

  4. Good on Samsung. Makes me sad that LG is bit being nrly as proactive with its flagship. That is the one thing that holds me back from buying their phone. When will LG learn that you have to support your customers for them to show support back.

Well Samsung has a lot of incentive to pressure the carriers to release an upgrade ASAP. Their galaxy gear only works with 4.3. And they aren't selling too well right now.

  5. I have never been charge for any in warranty repair at any sprint store ever. Every time i have an issue with a sprint phone that is covered under warranty it is either fixed or replaced for free. I have been charge the one and only time I broke a phone (don't carry insurance) for the repair.

I was charged the 50 for an uncovered stock s3 that stopped booting up.

  6. They didn't steal the truck they are just driving it to markets that have band 41 lte. They didn't want all that Triband to go to waste. Must've been a S4GRU member.

  7. Sweet 11/6. Samsung must've pressured the carriers so that they could sell more Galaxy gears. Especially since the return rate for the watch is rumored to be bad.

  8. I'm having an issue with my GS3, and I was wondering if you guys know what's up. Recently, the USB port broke and stopped charging (corrosion due to something), so I picked up a wireless charger to charge it. It came in today, and now the phone boots up and everything, I factory reset it, but it won't charge past 0%. It shows up as charging and it turns on fine, but it just won't go past 0%. I'm leaving it off and charging for a while longer, but I'm not sure it will make a difference.

Qi charger? Are you using the correct amps charger? With my old palm pre if I didn't use the correct charger with the cradle it wouldn't charge. Maybe try different Qi chargers. There's like 10 of them now.

  9. Isn't there free citywide wifi in Mountain View?

It's super fast too. But handoffs are fair/poor. And not everywhere. Even at the Google campus the wifi isn't everywhere. So if you're stationary and can get it, it's great!
