  1. I read somewhere the S4 sales have been disappointing.

The article below is from June. So very early on. But was an early indicator.

They may not be stocking up. They may have been stuck with this stock for awhile. Slow sales were reported early on.

So maybe they've been stuck stock for awhile.

  2. They've (the higher ups) known about this phone for months, so hopefully they don't have too much. I'm just surprised it isn't nationwide to get rid of all the old stock.

We've been speculating for over a month now on the state of their s4 stock. It's sucks that even with Christmas they couldn't get rid of the stock. Must have been a whole lot of s4s. And why would best buy order more s4s in a different color so late in the year. artic blue. Strange.

And who knows. Maybe they might make the s4 spark available in the spark markets only at first. Seamlessly sneak it in with the old stock.

    They're prioritizing spark markets first.

  4. Well the only other triband LTE device in the pipeline that has been FCC approved is the LG G Flex which Sprint has not made a public announcement yet. I think the LG G Flex won't come out until early 2014 or until ATT/Tmobile announce that they are going to release it. The next triband LTE device has to the GS4 triband. If they don't release the GS4 triband soon then people will just wait for the GS5 if they want a Samsung LTE phone.

Oh I agree it will be the s4t. But people were so sure it was gonna be released b4 Xmas. And how they stated 6 spark phones will be released by year end. I'm just saying I'm not surprised it's not 6 like I been saying since early Nov.

  5. Sprint has publicly stated that there will be six spark devices in 2013.

LG G2, LG Google Nexus 5, HTC one max, Samsung mega 6.3, Samsung galaxy s4 mini and of course the s4t. It will come out either this month or December.

It is not going to be sold on Dec 31st. If anything phone releases are on a Friday so 1/3/14 would be a more likely release date. If not it could be on 1/10/14. I don't think Sprint made a promise that the GS4 triband phone will be released in 2013.

They did say 6. Not the s4t necessarily.

  6. finish for awhile. Here are the highlights:

Added LTE cell information and mobile data connection status to the expandable notification on Android 4.1+ devices. (Pro)

Depending on how full your notification tray is, you may need to use a two-finger pulldown to see the extra information.

Thanks to everyone for their support. Happy holidays!

    -Mike

Awesome update! Love the idea of the expandable notification. But mine doesn't seem to close even if I try to 2 finger close it manually. Works fine for all my music apps notifications. I'm using an s3 on 4.3.

Also is it possible we can choose what info can be expandable. For me I'd rather see 800 1x bsl than active connection status. Thanks much and Merry Christmas, I left you some milk and cookies by the fireplace.

  7. 1x800 in SF too. No signs of CSFB yet though, so still no LTE for tri-band handsets.

Where in sf did you get 800? I get it routinely in sf but the signal comes from Daly City for me.
