  1. We shall see. When does Sprint plan on turning on LTE on 2.5? I know sprint had said once they get approval from the shareholders and FCC we would find out more but I wonder exactly since they plan on launching Triband LTE MBB devices this summer
  2. I'm sure sprint/softbank will get with clearwire to push up the shareholder vote. Sooner they do the sooner we can get FCC approval.
  3. OMFG!!!! YESSSSS!!!!! The best damn news ever. They might as well get the shareholder approval pushed up. FCC here we come!!! Triband LTE is coming y'all. Y'all ready?!?!!!!!
  4. I know. I'm ready just thankful that I live somewhere that has 800 turned on and has lte
  5. First of all today was great day for us sprint customers and employees. Now that's official that SoftBank will be the parent company of Sprint & and possibly Clearwire how should SoftBank sprint. When people think of sprint they tend to think of negatives things like (slow data, a lot of dropped calls, etc) you also have those people who laughs at sprint unlimited plan since sprint data is slow. I definitely would like to see new sprint commercials starting next year. Personally I don't think it would be wise to market the new sprint until the network improves. By next year we would have Triband LTE, voice on 800mhz, etc. Also I think it would be cool if sprint does a cool Superbowl ad and somehow incorporate the negative things people have said in the past and then BOOMS starts talking about how great their network is now and what it would be like in the future. Hopefully their is a new catchy slogan and maybe even a newer symbol. I just want softbank to market Sprint as a new and improved company and keep it different from the sprint prior to SoftBank. I know it's going to take time and money for all - I typed this fast and didn't feel like checking my grammar or typos. #sorrynotsorry and since we don't have a lot to talk about now since the SoftBank transaction went through I would like to see some of your ideas
  6. I'm sure apple will make the iPhone TDD capable I just don't this years versions of the iPhone will have the chip. Honestly as long as the next years iPhone has TDD LTE support I'm fine since I am eligible for an upgrade next June. I just hope in time that the 2.5ghz band is nationwide, I know some areas need it more than others
  7. I'm sure the note 3 will be the first Triband device but Samsung did announce they are releasing a galaxy s4 LTE advance edition. And sprint plans to use clearwire's spectrum for LTE advanced and also tmobile is supposedly launching LTE advance either end of this year or early next year
  8. My wishlist is about the same but I think Softbank/Sprint should acquire US cell. I know there not a national carrier but they still have good spectrum in rural areas. At this point I don't think sprint should worry about tmobile What time is the shareholder meeting?
  9. Right. I think the GS4 advance will be sent to sprint. Just can't wait until we get things moving
  10. Do you think Samsung and HTC will release Triband editions or maybe they'll just sell through their current supply and then the newer batches will be Triband lol

  12. Tomorrow is the day to get shareholder approval for SoftBank correct? When will find out if the deal has been approved? And what's the step after that?
  13. Every tower in the city? O_o I didn't know that. I seriously cannot wait once LTE is 100% delpoyed in every market on all 3 bands. Loving how sprint is rebuilding its network for the future.
  14. I'm sure that's what sprint/SoftBank is aiming for with the clearwire spectrum.
  15. Cool I read more info about their LTE network on their website and it looks like they planned to release a LTE advance network that can get about 100mbps down. I wonder sprint/SoftBank plans to same once they acquire clearwire. Do I necessarily need to have at 100mbps down, absolutely not but for bragging rights it would be nice if sprint/SoftBank does plan to have those kind of speeds on that network
  16. Do we have any information about the first round of markets for clearwire's TD LTE? I mean at this point it doesn't matter since we don't have Triband phones but I'm still curious since the only news about clearwire are the acquisitions. Also what are the expected speeds for clearwire's LTE.
  17. Random but do you think sprint should revamp its plans after all the acquisitions go through. I know sprint has the best value plans on the market compared to its competition but at least it's competitors have different options. I would like for sprint to keep unlimited data but I would like to see them offer data cap plans (2GB) that will be cheaper than the 79.99 Also for family plans it would be cool if they can offer a 700 min everything data shared plan.
  18. http://www.engadget.com/2013/05/21/sprint-announces-three-tri-band-lte-mobile-broadband-devices-to/ This fall. LG (Optimus G pro) and Samsung (note 3) will probably be the first Triband LTE phones.
  19. I heard sprint is getting less capital on this new deal but sprint will be saving 2billion a year with the SoftBank purchase plus sprint will soon make a profit from the iPhone and Nextel being shutdown so all of that will more than likely go to the network.
  20. I was thinking about switching to tmobile too but I have 800mhz in my area as well as 4g LTE so I'm ok . 2014 and going forward will be great for sprint, LTE should be deployed nationwide on 800/1900/2500, voice on 800, LTE advance, and possible more acquisitions. SoftBank will turn sprint around
