  1. So, new phones are required for this tech. So, once sprint rolls out 4*4 mimo would we need another device? Once 4*ca is rolled out(which is in the future of course ) will we need another device ?

It seems like you will need a new phone every year to take advantage of the latest network technology.

Thank goodness I'm on iPhone forever lol

  2. Which phones will be the first to offer High Power LTE UE for Band 41 and when should we expect them? What kind of performance improvement should we expect from these new handsets?

Does Sprint ever plan on supporting international LTE roaming?

When do they plan on rolling out VoLTE? Will they try to inplement a form of VoLTE to 1x SRVCC to deal with dropped calls or will they just implement VoLTE independent of 1x?

What are Germany's chances of winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup?

    Lol at the last question.

I think all flagship devices will be HP LTE UE capable next year. I wonder when Sprint will deploy 4xCA?

  3. In really optimistic about the network in 2017. Hopefully this will be the year that people will take notice that they are all the other 3 carriers ass.

Does anyone know the total length of projected time it's going to take to deploy out their small cells? I wonder how many permits have been approved and because we are coming up on the winter months I wonder how this will possibly slow down deploying the cells.

No idea but based on the info I've read once the permit gets approved it should take that long since they are not running fiber to the pole but A.J, Tim, and Robert are the experts

  4. Simultaneous voice and data works great through third party apps. As atrocious as Snapchat is as an app coded by a financially successful corporate entity (it consistently crashes on anything with less than a Snapdragon 810 with 4GB of RAM when you go to take a photo or try to use the UI as intended), it works well for me as a high (voice) quality VOIP solution that just about all of my peers use. And I can browse the web while in call.

I use hangouts from time to time but when people call me it goes through the normal dialect system through my iPhone, also when I call out it shows my number as all 0's or unknown.

  6. The user experience would be very lacking. They are #1 or #2 when it comes to voice as it is now. I feel if they turned it on now, they'd drop to #3 and mostly #4. As we have seen with TMobile, VoLTE doesn't fix everything. This seems to be an area that TMobile was struggling with before VoLTE and still is with VoLTE. If you have quality issues it is even recommended to turn VoLTE OFF.

I have a feeling we won't really see VoLTE on a large scale until 3G starts to officially die off. Roaming LTE should help with users VoLTE experience on Sprint.

That's to long in my opinion. I think they should make the feature optional. I'm connected to LTE 98% of the time so I won't have severe issues.

  7. I heard a very credible rumor a couple months ago that Sprint was going to make every Sprint store a Pokestop. I bet this is the announcement that it's really happening. While some people say it's not cool, It will drive traffic. At worst, it's an easy way to increase visibility.

  8. It's about time. Sprint is way overdue for VoLTE or at least simultaneous voice and data. My connection told me a few months ago that sprint definitely will not be releasing it in 2016 so maybe that means early 2017? If that's the case maybe I'll stay and not go elsewhere

Same here. I hope they launch it before the iPhone 8 (7s). But I have a feeling VoLTE won't come until 5G becomes a thing lol
