My memory might be hazy but I'm pretty sure Wimax was announced in both markets at the same time. Also the announcement a week or so ago mentioned they were working in SW FL now and part of the next 100 day release I think Tampa and Central Florida will fall in that time frame.. What do I know though?

So you are not seeing the issue at all now. The SG3 just connects?
There are a couple of things that worry me about this. First, if I'm driving if I'm on the move or whatever is my EVO going to ever connect to LTE. I don't have time while I'm driving to do the toggle dance. Second, I'm worried that Sprint will be able to stall me by giving me the "well LTE isn't available in your area yet" then the "Well LTE coverage isn't everywhere yet in the area", then lastly "Sorry your phone is out of warranty" My other problem is I don't want the SG3. I don't like the hardware.

I have to say digiblur I have done a real 180 on this issue. I was fine with waiting it out but at this point I'm a little pissed about the situation. If it takes a market 6 months to reach saturation/maturity for LTE and add to that the amount of time it took for you to get a sniff of LTE in a market it might be damn near close to end of your contract before you get consistent connection
Just to add fuel to the fire I was in the CompUSA and the guy was pimping Sprint hard I mean hard. Finally I said that I didn't like Sprint because of the speeds and couldn't go with them. He then says to me that Sprint will be seeing some upgrades very soon in this area. I laughed cuz he ain't telling me nothing I don't already know but asked him how he knows. Then he tells me that they have a in at Sprint and that's why they are pushing hard in this area. He said that we should start to see testing sites in Dec and a rollout in Jan, Feb time frame. By now I stop laughing and want to stab him with the pen at the register. He was giving me just enough information to make me believe he was credible but the info he was giving wasn't what I wanted to hear either.
I'm not sure how accurate he was but the store seemed to be all about selling Sprint service and I have never seen that.

I got St. Pete on lock. If there is a man on a tower over here you guys will be the 2nd to know trust that. In another thread though I found out exactly what the tower techs are doing. It would be real easy to miss them because the job isn't as prolonged as let's say a brand new install

Does anyone know if any other carrier has mismatched panels on each sector besides Sprint when the new ones are installed? I have Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro, Nextel stuff, and of course Sprint

Its cool I swear I'm not the Sprint police but I just don't see how people do it, I may tether myself but its not for any extended amount of time in most cases and do all the other things you mentioned but crap that's a ton. I don't even have enough time in the day to do that much data
I swear I'm not dogging you but how the hell do you use that much data on the network in the state that its in now? How is that possible? You will also be one of the people that causes us to lose unlimited data. I'm sorry maybe I am dogging you out but jeez what reason would you need that much data in a month? If you use that much with speeds averaging less than 1M downloads what will you use when given 10M dl speeds?
