I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. The pull down now went back to saying LTE (ID: 3100). Weird. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

I did a factory reset. That didn't change anything. I wish I would've known ahead of time because it would've saved me 2 hours in loading everything back on my phone. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

After going to the Sprint store and since they had no idea what to do, they called a high level tech support. That person told the store employee it is a "provisioning" problem and it may resolve itself later but they couldn't provide any additional help. To be clear, as soon as I open the wifi calling app, I hit proceed and then it won't go any further. It tells me to go to a store or call customer service. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

I just got the wifi calling system update last night on my Galaxy S4T and I noticed under the Provider section, it now says: Unknown (3100). This morning (when I first noticed it), on the pull down, it said LTE (3100) but now says LTE (Sprint). Not sure what's going on. It may not be related to the update but I noticed it a few hours after the update was applied. The GCI is still reading correctly. Any ideas?

I called customer service and they couldn't figure it out. I even did a factory reset and that didn't work either. I guess I'll have to make a trip to the store today. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

I got the update overnight but every time I click on the wifi calling app, it goes into a device self service screen, and then says it can't activate and I need to take the device to the nearest Sprint store. Any ideas? I tried to restart but that didn't work. I also tried clicking on the app with wifi on and off. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Shentel DSL is the only wired broadband available where I live. I pay $60 for 10/1. That doesn't include the $20 for the mandatory telephone line. If I could at least do away with the telephone charge, it would be quite as bad. It sucks but that's what happens when there's no competition. Edit: I forgot to say that I do get the speeds I pay for.

I think you are correct. It does seem as though the odd ball GCI numbers are on the higher capacity sites around me too. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Onstar has used and will continue to use Verizon for all Onstar equipped vehicles from 2014 and prior. Starting in the 2015 model year, they are switching to AT&T as their cellular provider.

That was a nice bonus when I referred a friend last year. It was during a promotion and each of us were supposed to get $50. We actually both got $100 though, which was nice. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

I used the referral rewards program once before but I now can't find it. Did Sprint quietly do away with the program when Framily was introduced? Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

It appears Sprint is doing a slow roll out on this update. With how few S4T phones that are out there, I assumed this would be quick. Apparently I was wrong. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Yes, that's correct. It shows as correct in signal check pro. I was just commenting on the lack of consistency in my area. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

Shentel has a great network. Ntelos, on the other hand, not so much. The next time you go to NY (assuming NYC), if you're on I-81, watch your phone and it will be on LTE for 99% of your trip from just before Harrisonburg VA until you turn off onto I-78. That is Shentel territory. Then you hit Sprint native territory just a little bit after getting on I-78. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

I also found 2 different towers that use 01, 02, and 03. So much for consistency. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

I'm in a Shentel area and it's showing as B26 but it should be B25. I double checked this in the LTE engineering screen. I got excited for a second but it's OK. I know it's coming here soon. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk

I would say Sprint is a little busy upgrading their entire network so once they finish (or get close to finishing) that's probably when they would consider building out into new territory. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk
