  1. I paid the .99 cents just to get that annoying ass ad off my phone. I've had a few friends say "dang Verizon's LTE is that fast here" just because they glanced and saw that ad and assumed it was Verizon. I would have to correct them that it was Sprint not Verizon.
  2. Sprint's median download speed almost doubled since February. I can't wait to see these reports next year when B41 starts showing up around every street corner in metro areas.
  3. More bug fixes pretty much, also got an carrier update to Sprint 23.1. Unfortunately HD voice is still disabled if you enable Wi-Fi calling.
  4. Gotta love Sprint, I got my first bill which is $157.63 due on Christmas Day. I checked it this morning and they waived both $36 activation fees and now its not due til January 2nd, for a total of $77.83 for two lines. Funny thing is that I didn't call Sprint.
  5. Just received iOS 9.2 update notification.
  6. It's all about that downlink speed and Sprint has that treasure trove of BRS, RootMetrics can shove it.
  7. I see that now but that's fine I never go over 3GB on LTE. I use WiFi when at home and my ISPs WiFi "OptiZones" that are laid out everywhere around town.
  8. I needed at least the 5GB so I know for sure I won't go over but I was told if I do there is no overages, if I do go over I am just throttled to 2G speeds.
  9. Yea I am aware of the access fee but it still comes out to be much cheaper than AT&T.
  10. So after four months using AT&T I am back with Sprint and couldn't be more happier. AT&T's voice quality needs a lot of work here, VoLTE either worked or dropped every few calls. I finally ended up disabling VoLTE in favor of UMTS/HSPA which worked but punished my ears (crackling, popping, and a loud squeak) depending on what side of town I was on. On the data side AT&T's LTE worked but wasn't nothing to write home about, at least once a week I would get a message when trying to use the web browser stating "that a data connection couldn't be established." So this past Wednesday I went into one of the Sprint stores here and got signed up for iPhone Forever, ported my number back to Sprint, traded in a working smartphone, and walked out with a iPhone 6S. The best part is I am only paying half of what I paid on AT&T ($25/5GB) which you can't beat in my opinion. Only gripe I had was when I was in the store, it was BUSY! Everyone there was switching over from Verizon or AT&T and had nothing but happy faces once the reps showed them what they would pay once they switched. Things are looking up for Sprint!
  11. Lol, I immediately thought of the pink slime in Ghostbusters 2 that runs under NYC's streets, because it will put anyone in a bad mood.
  12. Yeah *scratches head* This is my first iPhone, since the days of smartphones I went from Blackberry (2008) to Android (2009-2015).
  13. iPhone 6S noob here...how does the 3D touch work? I have tried pressing on icons (camera app) but the only luck I get is all the icons start to shake, what gives?
  14. Was with AT&T and now back with Sprint at half the price, I regret I even switched but now I'm rocking a space grey iPhone 6S which is unprecedented considering I've been in the Android ecosystem since the beginning.
  15. TriCities (Bristol Va) they turned on VoLTE about a week ago so some bugs may need to be ironed out here.
  16. I just experienced my first VoLTE call on AT&T the day before yesterday, what a huge difference in call clarity...when it worked, out of five calls three of them dropped within the first 2 minutes. I ended up disabling VoLTE and having my calls handed back over to UMTS/HSPA.
  17. The Tom Clancy series games have always been addicting, I'm hoping The Division lives up to its hype.
  18. Also, from the screenshot I posted above, I noticed the CQI now updates along with the RSRP and RSRQ on my S6. Past Samsung Galaxy devices did not refresh the CQI and always seem to stay at the "1" value. On that note what is CQI used for?
  19. Samsung Galaxy S6 (AT&T variant) on 5.1.1 instantly crashes upon opening SCP, force closes to quick to send a report.
