  1. Bristol, Va here they are calling for 3 to 8 inches and the threat of freezing rain and sleet. Business is about to go boom for me if this storm is the real deal.
  2. Just checked and...whoop there it is.
  3. Hopefully NGN will help you guys out down there eventually. I consider myself lucky because in this area Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon are pretty much on par now when it comes to LTE coverage, Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon are co-located on 90% of the cell sites here. I prefer Sprint's robust 800/1900 CDMA network, I never have dropped calls and voice quality/clarity is far above par compared to AT&T's.
  4. It's time for Marcelo to come out and clear the air on this matter.
  5. Your BINGE ON is Disabled, Dial #JOHNLEGERE# to enable it. Your BINGE ON is Enabled, Dial #NEVILLERAY# to disable it.
  6. Either it hasn't been optimized still or has been and what see is what you get with band 25 (1900MHz). You may have to wait for band 26 (800MHz) to be flipped on to fill in the LTE gaps.
  7. The experience I have had with new LTE sites coming on for commercial use for the first time are usually not optimized. Give it a few days or a couple of weeks for them to make adjustments to the site.
  8. Article seems misinformed, I believe this is going forward with Sprint's micro-cell deployment and any new macro sites that are needed (NGN). Sprint could also be leveraging different ISPs such as smaller municipal providers for fiber backhaul to save money, help smaller ISPs, and still have tier 1 support.
  9. All the T-Mobile fanboys will be out in full force.
  10. Come to Northeast Tennessee and try AT&T's VoLTE and see if you don't have issues. One of the main reasons why I came back to Sprint, I rather have CDMA 1x (HD voice when possible) than have to deal with dropped calls constantly. Like AJ mentioned, different opinions from different observations regarding VoLTE.
  11. When I read the title of this thread I didn't see T-Mobile in the title anywhere, what happened to the constructive and educational posts regarding Sprint...
  12. I guess I am one of the lucky ones when I went into the Sprint store to take advantage of the 50% off deal and iPhone forever. The rep was very friendly told everything to me straight and was upfront about it, he even estimated my bill within a few pennies. He even went so far as to give me and my fiance free Otterbox Commuter cases for our iPhone 6S's. Granted this was around the Christmas holiday season so maybe we was just trying to spread a little Christmas cheer but either way I left the Sprint store confidently knowing that I made the right decision switching from AT&T.
  13. I came from Android and this is my first iPhone (6S) and I can say that the RF performance beats the hell out of past Android devices I have owned. Areas I knew I wouldn't get LTE whether it be from SMR or PCS my iPhone keeps a latch on it and the data is usable at -119dBm or higher, very impressed with it.
  14. Very successful, when I swapped back to Sprint from AT&T at the first of December I got at the Sprint store around 3PM it was quiet. About thirty minutes into getting my lines ported back to Sprint it was like David Beckham and his posse came breaking in the door and they stayed slammed until closing time. They were even accepting Cricket and GoPhone prepaid lines for the half off deal putting them in the AT&T boat. Sprint is making waves with this deal.
  15. Agreed, my lawn/landscaping service is still mowing with no signs of slowing down unless we start getting some hard freezes. I still have a back log on landscaping contracts that can't get done due to the warm spring like weather.
  16. Or when in the field test menu drag down the notification bar and the dBm will be displayed without having to exit out of the field test menu as stated in a previous post. You can also just lock the phone and when woke back up it displays the numeric dBm, I do this when hunting down new B41 sites. I find that iOS doesn't update the signal dBm as often as Android though which is kind of a disappointment.
