Tmobile is just like any carrier, they want to squeeze as much money they can from you. These PR stunts are basically laying the ground work to introduce overages. His excuse will be we tried everything to prevent the data abusers, we tried a 20gbs hard cap on congested sites, and we tried to kick out the people tethering over 2 TB.

I hope somehow Sprint gets U.S cellular and the others small rural carriers because that would put Sprint as their own 300 millions+ on coverage. I never really cared about a merger with Tmobile since both networks overlap everywhere. Buying Tmobile would had not fix Sprint coverage where they lack it.

Major improvements across the board,and I am glad to hear that 1000s of new macro sites will be built besides small cells.

In Metro areas they are screwed unless they lift a fire and put 8T8R 2.5gz on the rest of their macro sites. The rural areas areas using 800mhz and 1900mhz LTE are good for now though. I can't wait for the earnings report because I want to see how many macro sites they will build on their densification project.

Yup. AT&T was the one that built Tmobile LTE network due to the 6 billions breakup fee and AWS spectrum. If a second Carrier Aggregation is out now (2015) doesn't that means that devices having a 3x will come out in 2016. I think the most likely scenario in 2017 is carrier aggregation on the TDD and FDD bands. As marcelo mentioned in the earning call those devices will be out two years from now.
