  1. I doubt that an "LTE+" logo will appear, whether you're connected to Band 41 or connected to LTE at all. If I remember correctly, that only appeared on T-Mobile iPhone's that people jailbroke and installed a tweaked that made "LTE+" appear whenever they were connected to "Wideband LTE". I doubt Apple wants to make iOS more complicated that it already is. 1x, 3G, and LTE on CDMA and GPRS, E, 3G, 4G, and LTE on GSM are probably the most signal indicators that we will get. -Anthony
  2. Well the current iPhone's have a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a I believe the 3.5 inch iPhone's were a 3:2 aspect ratio, and when we did that transition from 3.5 inch to 4 inch, it wasn't too big of a deal. I imagine Apple will try to keep the 16:9 aspect ratio so that people can still watch widescreen videos in full-screen on their iPhone's. -Anthony
  3. When the Nexus 5 first came out, it had support for all three bands, but it didn't have the software to let you use them. It took MONTHS after the Nexus 5 came out for it to get official Sprint Spark support. If what Dkoellerwx says is true, then the iPhone 6 will probably be like that, also. Hopefully it doesn't take as long for that update to come out as it did for the Nexus. -Anthony
  4. As I am not familiar with the matter, how is AWS LTE split up, band wise? Is there only one AWS band, or are there multiple bands for AWS? -Anthony
  5. I couldn't care less about whether or not the Sprint variant of the iPhone 6 supports Verizon's AWS LTE. That's absolutely no use to me (as far as I know). -Anthony
  6. I connect to that tower in my house in Rocky River Crossing and I connect to that same tower when I'm at school at Hickory Ridge High. -115 to -108 dBm at my house, -110 to -100 at school. That's amazing coverage, from one tower! And on LTE, none-the-less! -Anthony
  7. We're talking about an ubsubsidized device, not an unlocked device. There is a difference. The unsubsidized device doesn't come with a 2 year contract, the unlocked device doesn't come tied to a carrier. We are talking about a Sprint iPhone, which is CDMA, not an unlocked device, which is GSM. Therefore, the unlocked phone wouldn't work on Sprint, but the unsubsidized device will already be provisioned for Sprint. -Anthony
  8. You can buy an unsubsidiezed version from Apple that is locked to Sprint. The unlocked version is a GSM phone and isn't compatible with Sprint. People can purchase an unsubsidized, carrier locked device on day 1, assuming they haven't run out of phones. -Anthony
  9. More than likely it will be out a couple of days, or a week or so, after the event on September 9th, if history repeats itself. Usually the GM comes out on a Wednesday, then it launches to the public on a Friday, and then the new device itself comes out that following Tuesday. We'll see how things play out over the next 2-3 weeks. -Anthony
  10. Which Galaxy? I remember on some of the older Android devices, they didn't come with emoji's preinstalled or something like that, and emoji's would come up as some weird bunch of text on them. -Anthony
  11. The A7 has PLENTY of power. I think the A8 should really focus on battery usage rather than performance this generation. -Anthony
  12. Ah then yes, that is the glorious A6X processor at work. What a battery champ that processor was! -Anthony
  13. Is that a 4th gen iPad? -Anthony
  14. As much as I do like that idea, and it could be plausible, someone posted a few pages back that someone had found the likely resolution of the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 inside of iOS 8, and it wasn't 1334x750 -Anthony
  15. That's exactly what I was planning on doing! The current gen Nexus will still be a great device even when the mew one comes out. -Anthony
  16. I'm already thinking about getting a Nexus 5 as an occasional use device for Band 41, LTE/1x tracking, and the ability to use a good Android device (because the only one we have in the house is a Galaxy Tab 3, which, you know, sucks). But I probably won't go completely to the dark side -Anthony
  17. I'm going to be getting a new Retina MBP next summer for college. I've always been interested in learning how to use OS X, but I'll definitely be installing Boot Camp so I can also run Windows on it, too. -Anthony
  18. I absolutely love what is going on in this thread. We need a collection of these Legere pictures. -Anthony
  19. Hello there! My sister's 64 GB iPhone 5S has ~10 MB available free space. -Anthony
  20. He works for Sprint (as far as I know), so he is the source. -Anthony

There truly isn't a better place on the internet to learn about Sprint, Network Vision, wireless technology, or any kind of technology in gereral! Feel free to join into the many conversations going on, and ask questions if you wanna know anything. Welcome and good luck! -Anthony
