    I'm getting frequent crashes and Android complaining about battery drain the last few days. I'm not really sure why. I try to send feedback but sometimes that crashes too. It seems to happen when my phone decides it no longer wants to use VoLTE and switches to 1x. So it might just be my device, but really not sure.

    We just came out of solar minimum, so there has been more activity, and it will increase in the next couple years. But nothing so far that has disrupted GPS networks.

    It comes and goes. Every now and then if I put it in my pocket the GPS will bounce around and it will suddenly think I'm no longer home and shut all the lights off on me. (Routines with smart lights via the home app). I've also had trouble with navigation after the latest update where it will constantly think I'm a block over or am moving the wrong direction and totally messed with the instructions.

    Ever since the August update I haven't been able to connect to 5G, and now tonight VoLTE is not working. I'm on Sprint 1x800 and T-Mobile LTE. Bluetooth has also been really flakey, dropping out when I normal don't have any issues. Anyone else running into anything like that? I am still TNA on my S21 Ultra.

    n66 is active on my S21 Ultra, so if the device supports it I would think they would allow it to be turned on soon since n66 is going live in some markets. I believe T-Mobile is going with n25 rather than n2 to make use of the Sprint PCS G-Block, but that is not enabled on any device that I am aware of yet.

    Our first (known) Sprint casualty in the Omaha market. Sprint used to be the third tier, but equipment vanished between Friday and today.

    Yes, smaller channels still can perform well. But it sounds like he needed reliable and fast. Smaller channels can still have fast peak speeds but may not be as reliably fast. We only have 40Mhz on air here in Omaha and I can get peak speeds of over 400Mbps. But, during the day, that falls into the 50-150Mbps range. Perfectly fine for most usage of course, but if you need reliably faster speeds, it may not be the best option. Edit: My experience is NSA 5G. I'm not sure if the internet offered is 5G only or if it combines LTE channels as well. If 5G only, then you will not even see the speeds I just mentioned if you only have a 40 or 60Mhz channel available.

    Only if you have 100Mhz of n41 available at your home address. Otherwise you are not likely to see anything close to what Though said.

    Is this maybe a regional vendor issue? I have not seen this problem on any of my devices (S20 FE, S21, S21 Ultra) on Nokia equipment in the Midwest.

    No complaints with my S21 Ultra. Works as expected throughout my travels so far (Kansas City, Omaha, Des Moines, Denver, Chicago, New York, Iceland).

    Sounds like mainly older Sprint plans. But not sure, I haven't given up on TNA yet.

    Depends on the site setup. If site have been marked as "Keep," you should hand off natively as if it were any other site. If the site is marked as roaming, then yes you'll need to have an extremely weak T-Mobile signal before it will hand off.

    It looks pretty right on for Omaha. I actually can get n41 in a slightly larger area than what they show on the map.

    Doesn't show anything special. "Ultra capacity" is n41, so generally you'll need to check the engineering screen to see which 5G band you're connected to (n71 or n41). If you're on SA 5G, SCP may show 5G 2500 or something like that.

    It all gets swapped out. The new B41/n41 equipment can handle larger n41 channels. So instead of maxing out at 60Mhz, it can broadcast 100+Mhz. Need new equipment to support B12, B71 and B66 in addition to B25 that Sprint uses.

    Mine gets quite hot when using wireless charging. Especially if the ambient temp is over 75, then I have problems with it getting too hot. It also gets very warm when using it outdoors while it's hot out. Not exactly surprising, but it does seem hotter than phones I've owned in the past. When charging indoors and not in direct sunlight, it doesn't get too terribly hot, but is noticeably warm.

    We have 01-03 for B66. 0B-0D for B2. 3D-3F for B71. B41 is on a completely different GCI, but ends with 83-85

    Yes, with the exception of SMR. Although it's generally on a market basis, not a site by site basis. T-Mobile is already shifting Sprint PCS spectrum over to their B2 channels where they can. The G-Block (reason for B25) will likely not get used until T-Mobile starts to deploy n25. The B41 spectrum of course is already getting recycled into n41 and their 2 B41 channels. As more Sprint B41 gets shut down, the n41 channel will be widened, or more channels added. SMR will probably (though not confirmed) go to Dish at some point, as I don't think T-Mobile has any plans to keep it around.

    But it's still there now, and in some areas better than T-Mobile. By the time they shut it down, many/most of those sties will be converted to T-Mobile, so it won't matter. But right now, it does matter. We're all aware of the timeline and what that means, especially RAvirani. I've had better luck with support on chat than I have calling or going into stores. I don't know if they'll be able to help or not, but that would be my first stop. I think there used to be a way to go back to TNA from TNX, but I don't know if they're doing that any more, and if they are, they likely aren't making it easy.

    The fact that you were already connecting to T-Mobile signals on your V30 is a good sign! The FE will likely come with a Sprint SIM in it, so just activate it as you would have activated any device previously and see how your performance is. Currently, there isn't a huge benefit to SA 5G unless you live on a fringe signal area and would benefit from the larger n71 carrier VS the narrow B71 carrier. It sounds like that isn't the case, so NSA 5G will work well for you and provide greater throughput than SA 5G. SA 5G will only become the better option (aside from the exception noted above) once n66 is more widespread and we start to see carrier aggregation between n71, n66 and n41.

    Depends on where you are. Sprint still has the larger network in Omaha/Nebraska. T-Mobile works fine, but having easier access to Sprint sites is still valuable here, and the Sprint SIM helps a little with that even though it is technically using T-Mobile first (TNA).

    This isn't an ideal solution, but download the Samsung Band Selector app. I posted instructions on how to use it earlier in this thread, not too long ago. You can set your phone to only look for B2, B4, B12, B66, and B71 which will lock out the Sprint signal.
