  1. To expand on that... new microwave permits show an additional 12 sites across the eastern half of the state that T-Mobile intends to build out soon. Given weather... probably not till Spring but good to see the progress continuing.
  2. They are doing *lots* of work around Nebraska! Before October there was no coverage outside of the old Sprint footprint, now they are all over the state. Not everywhere of course, but pretty impressive what they have done in a few months. And everything we have seen (a lot of microwave permits all around the state) indicated they will continue full steam ahead next year. Of course, a little slower for now thanks to the weather. We know they are adding sites around Lincoln to expand the footprint out to more of Lancaster County, however when those sites will come online we don't know, but it should be over the course of next year, possibly by Summer!
  3. I would not consider that to be native support since you're doing a bit of a hack to get there. S22 and S21 lines should support it, but so far only have NSA n25 native support.
  4. Does the Pixel 7 natively support SA n25 or did you have to change something to get that? Seems like the only device that has SA n25 right now.
  5. For most places it's likely just a capacity boost, adding another layer. If a site is ready for n25, it almost assuredly already has another layer of 5G already active. It might offer a slight coverage boost on a site by site basis if the particular site in question is lacking n71. This new layer won't result in a notable increase in coverage for many. The only places that may benefit are rural areas that are lacking in sites where T-Mobile may be forced to fill out the coverage (aka Nebraska), which is already happening.
  6. Sorry for back to back posts... but this is unrelated to the others. 12 new sites have shown up in Nebraska on today's coverage map update! That makes 43 new sites in total since the start of October. That does not count the Sprint conversions which number over 100 for our market (Nebraska/West Iowa).
  7. I don't mind Sprint billing, but I only go on there once a month so probably not enough to be bothered by anything haha. I was a little annoyed this week that the T-Mobile home internet deal wasn't available to those of us still on Sprint billing. I wanted to sign my parents up for it since their 80/10 internet is getting way to expensive for they get for it. My dad is able to pull 800/100 off the T-Mobile site next to their house.
  8. Cellmapper seems to show more n25 than I would have expected, but I am not clear on how well Cellmapper is able to identify what kind of 5G it is connected to when it is in NSA mode. I know it finds SA 5G just fine, but the lack of any cell data (that I can see) on n25 makes me question the amount of coverage. That said, if it is accurate, I suppose they could meet the POPs number to claim nationwide. I certainly have not seen any n25, NSA or otherwise.
  9. I know they have nationwide PCS holdings, just questioning whether they can say they have deployed n25 nationwide.
  10. Doesn't seem like many. They added it to the S21 Ultra but then took it away again back in November.
  11. Nationwide n25? How do they come up with that metric? I know I've seen it reported in a few spots, but hardly what I'd call nationwide. Unless I'm missing something.
  12. Solid choice ha. I'm waiting for the S23 Ultra
  13. I'm not entirely sure how casting to TVs work as I never do it. I have a Chromecast with Google TV so all the apps are built in. I haven't "cast" anything from my phone in years. Can you set up a router, even without an internet connection, and cast through that wifi network? No clue if that would work just trying to come up with solutions. I'm very surprised you dislike the device so much. My brother just traded in his S20+ for the P7 Pro and loves it, feels like a good upgrade for him. 👍👍👍
  14. Yes I have used that... but not to cast my screen. Inside the wifi menu, click the three dots at the top right to see if Wi-Fi direct is turned on. I'm not sure if it'll let you screen share though, as most phones just use it to transfer files anymore now that the majority of devices have Chromecast-like screen casting built in. Why..... just ..... why? Ought to know better.
  15. I cast to a Samsung smart TV with my S21 but it still requires wifi so ... 🤷‍♂️
  16. I've been using Samsung devices for a couple years and I've never been able to mirror without wifi? I'm not sure what exactly you're talking about.
  17. SA n25 was in the S21 Ultra, but they took it away, so may not want it to be used yet for some reason.
  18. It no longer shows signal strength in the notification bar for me. I haven't run into that issue, I have mine in a charging dock on my dash all the time.
  19. Got the update last night. Broke SCP notifications .... so yay.
  20. All I've been doing is taking screenshots of the coverage map at each update and comparing it to the last one. I haven't been watching Alabama, so it'd probably be up to you to see if anything has changed.
  21. T-Mobile continues to fill out the map in Nebraska. 9 new sites added to the coverage map today from the last update a little over two weeks ago.
  22. 3° C would fit ... haha. Is it possible the 8 is getting cut off? Or is that not how the icons work (I don't really have any idea).
  23. With the discovery of 3 more converted sites in Omaha this week, it brings the total number of converted sites to over 100 in what used to be the West Iowa / Nebraska Sprint market. There are a couple sites that are converted but not yet broadcasting that I am counting in that number. And yet, T-Mobile still has open conversion permits on ~25 sites in Omaha with an additional ~30 that are still online and broadcasting the keep PLMN that we know of across the market.
  24. Continuing the conversation from earlier in the thread about filling out the coverage map here in Nebraska... we are tracking signs of the buildout in the Nebraska Market thread where @Rickie546 has been able to identify sites with potential T-Mobile activity. Quite a few brand new builds across Nebraska and Kansas, some in Missouri and Illinois too. Also found a Sprint protection site that has evidently been converted, though it's not yet on the coverage map.
  25. Speaking of Nebraska... latest coverage map shows 6 brand new expansion sites in central and southwest Nebraska, plus 3 more conversions. They seem to be rushing the rural coverage for some reason rather than finishing up the conversions where capacity is already starting to get strained, or helping roaming hits by covering I-80.
