  2. I'm not sure about that. The first-gen LTE phones didn't have the modem baseband integrated with the SOC, and the battery life was atrocious. Remember the HTC Thunderbolt? LTE was a new technology then, but there is a correlation with battery life and modem integration.
  3. Ah, there we go. That also means the battery life could really suck until they get the baseband integrated with the SOC.

  6. If you're wanting to hold out for carrier aggregation, wait for a phone with the Snapdragon 805.

  8. IMS, however, is built into Android. Sprint could leverage that and wouldn't need a WiFi calling app baked into the software.
  9. There are, but I don't remember who makes them. A quick google search should find it for you.

  13. I'm seeing a lot more B41 pop up around me, but it seems to be using legacy backhaul. I'm in a Clear market, so I'm not surprised.

  15. Android supports IMS... I wonder if Sprint can't just use that for wifi calling on the rest of the devices without requiring a firmware update. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. I think triband devices switch back and forth for 1x and EVDO when they are not connected to LTE.
  17. Well there is a Duluth, GA just north of Atlanta. You summer in one and winter in the other easily and never have to worry about the name of your town. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. It's nice that Sprint is bringing back the 30-day guarantee. What I can't decide is if this really is a cringe-worthy event, or if the Phonescoop liveblogger doesn't like Sprint, or is just bad at liveblogging.
  19. I'm not... Yet Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  20. Just to add onto that, I've got B26 LTE all around me, but the antennas are not aimed correctly. I actually get a higher RSRP on B25 and B41 LTE inside my house than I do on B26.
