  1. Funny thing is I've been 55022 for a while on both Ativ S Neo and Q10
  2. Been getting LTE in Walkersville while sitting at Lonza too.
  3. When you see Alexandria and Arlington grouped in with Washington, I can guarantee that it isn't Washington State. This coming from a person that has both IAD and DCA badges.
  4. That's funny, because there is B41 in the dc market
  5. Well I guess none of you guys can tell me who was the very 1st store that sold Sprint spectrum phones when they first came out because Sprint didn't have any retail outlets at the time.
  6. People forget about frequencies especially in the vhf and uhf bands which 600, 700, 800 mhz after apart of. Every now and then when the atmosphere charges up especially in the e-layer, you get a bounce off radio waves called skip. And during the right tone, those radio waves will carry for miles. Not unheard of hearing or seeing tv and radio signals miles from where the were. It that frequency range, signals have a habit of traveling several states because of e-skip. Propagation always has play in it. There is no defeating physics.
  7. 20gb share plan with 3 devices, 2 phones 1 tablet. $140 a month less my discount of 23% off the $100 comes to $117 a month before taxes. That includes hotspot and tethering on the account up to plans limit.
  8. Sprint's capex isn't 10-18 billion a year, where did you pull that number from?
  9. Funny thing is there is a phone that is whitelisted on Sprint because Sprint has all of the IMEI's in the database "Nexus 6" and take a look at the upcoming LG Flex 2 radios. You will notice that is covering basically the whole gambit of the US frequencies.
  10. By the way people, the Lumia 635 is$168 out right on Sprint plus having all 3 lte bands, is a world phone, quad band GSM.
  11. Try streaming 4k video with out the compression that tv uses and you will reach your throttle point in no time. Cell carriers don't have the compression codec that broadcasters have. One 2 hour movie in 4k uncompressed would make blue ray seem small.
  12. It was a rumor started by some stock manipulators that quickly got shot down by both BlackBerry and Samsung. BlackBerry stock shot up and then went back down after the news that it was a lie. So if someone was day trading, they made about 20% profit on the sell off the stock the next day before going back down.
  13. I've been using the hotspot feature to get data to my windows 8 tablet for when I'm in the road. And the most I've used out of my plan of 20gb is 10gb between 3 devices. No complaining here, versatility is a pleasure with my account.
  14. What about the customers that don't have smart phones. The ones on feature phones that are 3G that sprint still sells. People keep forgetting about that part of the public.
  15. But you are talking about 2 different frequency bands. 700 and 800.
  16. But that would involve carrier aggregation which Verizon hasn't really starting to build out for. Only 2 current US carriers can do LTEAdvanced, AT&T and Sprint. T-Mobile and Verizon for right now are still on FDD.
  17. Including what use to be known as Sprint Spectrum. So you could say part of TMobiles network was partly due to a Sprint Launch into wireless back in 1995.
  18. South of Harrisonburg along I81 and running east to Lynchburg and Charlottesville isn't Sprint, it is NTelos. Sprint does have the I95 corridor but the western part of Virginia is it's partners with the exception of Bristol and you can guess why that is.
  19. Something to ponder. http://bgr.com/2015/01/08/t-mobile-vs-att-vs-verizon-network/
  20. Something that just came out and showing something positive. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sprint-reports-key-preliminary-customer-results-for-third-fiscal-quarter-of-2014-including-total-net-additions-of-nearly-one-million.htm?view_id=8696
  21. Got 6mb down 1.8mb up over here at the Texas roadhouse off of Buckeystown here in Frederick, right now waiting at Thermo Fisher, getting my load off of Executive way.
