  1. Seems to me like samsung has way to much money to blow.
  2. But isn't this more of a "Give us $50 and we put your name on a list" ? Its not the same as pre-ordering on the sprint website.
  3. A lot of people been talking bad about the phone but I honestly think that its decent for what it is and who its for, and that's the point of this phone. I think it will also make for a great choice for parents who don't want to spend more than they have to on a phone for their kids. Also, HTC should have launch this on more than just one carrier.
  4. You probably will have to pay for the whole thing.
  5. I agree but what other choice do we have?
  6. Yeah, I can't for the life of me figure out where I read that but I do think $549 is a decent price.
  7. Not sure where I read this but I heard that the sprint version will be $549
  8. If you qualify for an upgrade then you will get it for that price but of course you will have to renew your contract as well.
  9. What the hell, I will get it on the 19th but what I will do is move my evo over to my other line and retire my gnex. I will also be back in atlanta on the 18th so I can make decent comparisons for anyone else that wants to know how it performs as far as lte connectivity goes.
  10. Right now the only devices I have laying around are two ppc-6700's(Apache), everything else I ebay'd.
  11. I guess I can't argue with that.
  12. Any freebie's from sprint if you pre-order?
  13. Doesn't make me any difference being that I will pay full pop for whatever I get next.
  14. The last few times I have had connecting flights through puerto rico I connected to lte just fine even though the signal was a little on the low side but it still worked great.
  15. I won't be back in atlanta for another couple of weeks so I can't speak for coverage issues but all the towers surrounding southlake mall have all been updgraded so maybe there is an outage in the area
  16. This is too funny, I can't believe you fell for that..
  17. As far as the screen quality goes I am certain the One has the gs4 beat, I can't stand samsung with this pentile crap but the 5 inch screen is more attractive to me than the 4.7 but I love the front facing speakers on the one. That's one feature I been wanting for years. Even though I know what they are trying to do with their ultrapixel set up I am still not sold on it and I really feel the gs4 will turn out to have a better overall camera experience. Damn decisions!!
  18. For the first time ever I am torn between two different phones. Usually I am pretty certain what I will get and when but at this point I don't know if I should get the gs4 or the one. Initially I was gonna get both but decided to just get one then get something better for the second line later on in the year. Decisions decisions.
  19. Even though at&t is almost twice the size of sprint I highly doubt they sold twice as many one x's as sprint sold evo's. I wouldn't be surprised if it was about the same between the two carriers.
  20. Personally I don't think that it will make that much of a difference in overall sales but for me I would rather get the 64gb variant. I travel quite often so I keep quite a bit of media on my 64gb sd card that's in my evo. There is no way I can do 32gb only and because of that the gs4 just earned itself a few more points. I really wish htc would stop with the exclusivity bs and just release what they have to everyone and call it a day.
  21. http://www.phonedog.com/2013/03/30/at-t-htc-one-promo-video-reveals-64gb-model-exclusivity/ Thoughts?
  22. This may be true but have you been in the one forums over on xda? There is quite a bit of support for it so far, pretty impressive actually.
  23. Keep in mind that your bars represent voice (1x) strength and not your lte signal strength so even though you thought you had full lte connection, you really didn't which takes me back to what I said previously which was you were probably on the edge of actual lte coverage. Like what leerage said right above me, the next time you get a 4g signal go into your settings and get the rsrp of the lte signal. The evo lte has taken a rightfully deserved beating when it comes to lte performance but a lot of improvements have been made over time.
  24. Looking forward to reading your analysis.
