  1. Service the last few days has been fairly stable and data is a lot more consistent for me then ever, with that being said, I can't wait to get back to atlanta.
  2. At this point I am not even sure what the issue is but at least it would seem that voice and data services are a lot more stable now than every before.
  3. Wow, this is simply not good. For right now sprint is where its at for me but if they eventually force this on everyone then I might have to make the dreadful leap to at&t. Verizon and tmobile is not even an option for me.
  4. Uhhh, just turn off mobile data on your phone on you're on 1x only.
  5. I wouldn't expect all store level employees to be trained on this but I would definitely expect each stores technicians to be trained on it, after all I think they are the ones that determines whether or not a phone should be replaced or not.
  6. Not only that but it shows the severe lack of training on sprints part, its pretty embarrassing if you ask me.
  7. Even though the lg viper is a poor example, just about every flagship lg device has had horrible support once it was been released. With lg and google partnering up for the nexus I would think that lg would now be more on top of things with updates to their devices.
  8. I read this yesterday, and it is one very nice looking device but what the hell is up with the volume buttons(and I think even the power button) being on the back of the device? Makes no sense to me at all.
  9. What Rocket 87 posted is your exact issue
  10. LOL yeah, I just had a blonde moment. I didn't even realized you had merged the thread. What can I say, I had a long day at work today and I'm hungry.
  11. I think this is the reason why you aren't connecting to lte.
  12. Do you know someone else with an lte capable sprint phone so you can compare? It does sound like an issue with the phone, also try removing the sim card and re-installing it.
  13. Both my devices are always set to lte/cdma. Have you seen crews working on towers lately?
  14. Well quality of games will be dependant on the developer but I don't think that there is any mobile game that the adreno 320 can't handle. Look at modern combat 5 gameplay, it looks pretty damn good. The adreno 320 shouldn't have any issues running that game at all.
  15. I was simply asking what kind of data speeds you were getting while you were using whatever carrier's sim in tortola. I realized I shouldn't have used the word roaming since you weren't, so my bad. Just wanted to now what 3g speeds were like in the BVI.
  16. I was just talking about regular 3g data speeds. I don't think anywhere in the BVI has lte and if they did we won't be roaming on it anyway.
  17. Even though the island is small the terrain isn't exactly flat so there will be issues no matter what. Thats why places like around the antilles school area will always have issues with sprint because there is no line of site to any other tower on the island. On the other hand if I go offshore fishing 10 or 15 miles to the north of St. thomas I am still getting a great signal because there is nothing between me and the towers.
  18. Just head over to xda-developers.com and you will find anything you need for basically any phone.
  19. The battery life on this phone is outstanding and based on my own personal experience(being that I did have the gs4 for a few days before returning it) comparing both devices, I would say they are both about the same when it comes to rf performance. If you root, you can easily mod either the back botton or the home button to long press for menu. The only thing I don't like is no sd card, but I have gotten used to managing my media a little more efficiently now.
  20. I am starting to drop lots of calls again but data is working fine so far though.
  21. That's the thing, when typing incorrectly like that it becomes a distraction for everyone else, if this was just a forum filled with just virgin islanders then no one would care but this is a forum that has members from many different backgrounds so typing in a way that everyone will understand will be the most beneficial to this thread. We were taught proper grammar from kindergarten through high school, we were never taught to actually type the exact way we speak. Also keep in mind that twospirits is part of the staff here on s4gru so if there is a complaint then he will know about it. He also doesn't have the kind of patience as I do so lets not turn this thread into another back and forth session like a few pages back. Thank you for understanding, and lets try to maintain that from here on out. Virgin Islands Creole or our broken english is very difficult for mainland americans(and mostly everyone else for that matter) to understand and its even worse when it is type written. Anyway back on topic, haven't had any other interruptions since yesterday morning and for the most part I would say that 3g speeds have been consistent. Also for me, speeds have been averaging around 1meg or so and ping times have been averaging at around 180ms no matter the time of day. Maybe we will get a 4th of July weekend lte surprise.
