  1. Every year there is always some ridiculous rumor that never pans out, as far as this one though, I don't know but I would say probably not. But if it does then it would be cool as hell.
  2. Well the virgin islands really needs to get on that band 41 train. During the day, I actually average better speeds on 3g than I do on band 25.
  3. Caught a flight on the 26th of October out of atlanta and delta stated that note 7's are banned period, doesn't matter if its on the person or in a checked bagged. Besides, I don't even know why anyone would tell you that it needs to be in a checked bag because thats much worse than if you had on you in the event something unfortunate would occur.
  4. The latest flagships on sprint all perform pretty well in my opinion. The htc 10 performs really well if you would like to stick with htc, the s7/s7e/n7, g5 perform pretty good as well.
  5. Yes, I am aware of that but he said "But it should have a warranty regardless..." which would imply to me that he feels it should get replaced even if its not covered under Uh Oh Protection, hence my question.
  6. How would this qualify as a warranty repair/replacement if it was caused by you dropping the phone?
  7. Looking at that coral blue as well, it looks amazing. I will probably hold out to see what Google has in store then go from there.
  8. In the past yes but the 10 performs exceptionally well based on my experience.
  9. I have had every single htc flagship since the ppc-6700 apache. The only htc I had legitimate issues with was the htc touch pro, I probably had that device replaced 5 or 6 times due to having screen issues. But other than the touch pro, every other htc device was perfect as far as build quality and reliability.
  10. I figured it was some sort of hardware flaw because there were lots of updates pushed to the evo lte that never really addressed the problem. But other than that one issue, which was obviously a big issue, the evo lte was a beast phone at that time.
  11. Our initial purchase was at bestbuy as well.
  12. My wife's daughter is on her third g5 due to random hardware issues with the first two units. On our 3rd g5 and the volume buttons don't work at all. We sent her last unit out to lg due to the volume buttons not working at all and they refused to fix it under warranty since there was a small crack on the screen. Ended up getting swapped out at the sprint store.
  13. Most of us will agree that the 10 has the best quality speakers out of all the flagships right now but the other flagships have closed the gap so much that the difference in sound quality may not be as important as the diference in loudness. Also, there are other flagships that have front facing speakers with a better screen to body ratio than the m7/8/9 so there is no excuse for htc not being able to refine their design while keeping the front facing speakers.
  14. I haven't read up on this but how does this affect the current users that are on that plan?
  15. Sorry but htc should have stayed with the front facing speakers. As far as sound quality though the 10 is still one of the best if not the best in over all fidelity but its no where near as loud as previous htc devices or recent flagships from the competition.
  16. Nah, the evo lte was a great device with the only issue being that it had lte connectivity issues. If the evo lte had better lte performance I would probably put it second to the m7 as the best htc device ever made.
  17. Sorry but I think that render looks really bad, and I mean really really really bad.
  18. Since the previous update and this last update, I have notice increased battery life as well.
  19. Yeah, I'm certain fiber goes to the main tower on mountain top and microwave to the other towers on the island from there.
  20. Yeah, figured you were on the north side of the island. The problem is that the majority of the businesses and people on st. thomas work on the south side of the island which is basically Charlotte Amalie, not only that but thats where all the cruiseships and tourists are so those sectors are constantly flooded with traffic. On any given day you will probably average 0.2mb down and up where as you can consistently get much more than that on 3g.
  21. Which part of the island where you on and what day of the week was it?
  22. Band 41 needs to come to the Virgin Islands, during the day you are guaranteed to get better data service on 3g than you would on lte.
