Yep, heard about this a few days ago. Easily the best deal on any smartphone on the market right now.
-
Materials could easily make a difference. For example, the HTC A9 that I tested had a polycarbonate body and had much better RF performance than the retail unit that had an aluminum body.
-
Who did you purchase it from?
-
The case that comes with it looks cool but it's pure garbage, so I hope you're really not relying on that for any sort of protection. As far as camera issues, I haven't had any so if that's what you are experiencing just get it exchanged.
-
It's a no go on vvm for the u11. As of now there are no known workarounds.
-
The answer is still no, I'm pretty sure the htc 10 on sprint supported band 13 as well. Not sure if that was the first one though.
-
For a flagship device that you can get for under $600 I think it brings exceptional value. Camera is amazing, its insanely responsive, the screen is great to look at, its waterproof, speakers sound great, comfortable to hold(even though its very slippery), rf performance is excellent for me thus far as well. Its a pretty good all around device. My only real concern right now is battery life. Seems like most reviews are giving it a thumbs up for battery life, even going as far as saying that even with a smaller 3000mah battery, it still lasts longer the s8+. This could not be any further from the truth. From day one my s8+ has continued to amaze me as how efficient it runs but so far the u11, while not bad, definitely isn't living up to what I expected when it comes to battery life. I've had it for about 20 hours so far so I'll keep monitoring it for the next few days to see how things go. Also, no visual voicemail.

Just took delivery, damn this phone is slippery as hell. You better not be clumsy if you're not going to rock a case.
-
Yeah, mines should be delivered in a few hours or so as well.

Really needing these types of the speeds in the VI. -
I haven't even been paying attention but with the a9 and the m10 performing really well, I won't expect anything less from the u11.
-
Got tracking as well, but no updated info as of now so it looks like it will be tomorrow for me.
-
Same blue as the u ultra, and I'll be rocking it with a clear case.
-
I went with the blue, it looks amazing.

On a cruise? What other ports will you be stopping at? -
Well if it wasn't in direct sunlight in any way then I don't know what else could have happened that would caused that. My s8+ been running nice and cool regardless of what I thrown at it thus far. Edit: Could have been a random runaway app causing the cpu to run faster and longer than normal causing the heat. I did have one issue the other day with the oculus app running non stop overnight. I went to sleep with 100% battery and woke up with 43% left, normally it should have still been at least 95%.
-
You said you had it outside, was the phone in direct sunlight?
-
Well I have multiple lines so keeping this one for 2 years won't be a problem. On my main line I do upgrade every year so the galaxy forever lease option is the most feasible for me on that particular line, the u11 is going on my secondary line which currently has an s6 edge on it.
-
True but unfortunately upgrade pricing isn't available any more so this is as good as it will get. So you just have to ask yourself if its cheaper to stay on the older plan and going this option or going to a newer plan and paying the higher monthly amount.
-
Yeah and for having an older plan you get a $10 monthly loyalty credit, that's where the 12.75 price comes into play.
-
LMAO, I would do it but for that price I couldn't pass it up. I went ahead and pre ordered. Between selling the echo dots and selling my s6 edge i'll damn near be getting the u11 for free.
-
I'm on the everything data 1500
-
Yeah I just notice this deal as well. Apparently, if you are on one of the older plans with an active lease then you can get the u11 for 12.75 per month on installments. So for me that's $306 total purchase price, thats one hell of a deal.
